The first thing the church does is to give you a European name under the guise of stupid christian name and when the people start behaving as Europeans, the same pastors turn around and claim the people are having identity crises.
Every society's believe system has to be accordance with their culture, and their rulers/kings/chiefs has to be the ones intercede with the god nature for them.
The only way this relationship can be usurped is when the people are conquered and the strangers strange believe system is forced on the people and if their rulers are not in line with the new believe system, a parallel society is created and our chiefs and their culture that best described us as people are on one road while the new believers and the gate keepers representing the conquering forces are on another road. The gate keepers put on suit to preach their followers wear the same suit to church, same with the African muslim copying Arabs.The gate keeper becomes the new chief/king/queen to the new Euro-African.
The only way the African king can have his people back is to drive the new believe system away be it christianity or islam.

Churches and mosques have sprung up all over the country miseducating the population. Preaching,praying and singing goes on all day all night yet crime, corruption and apathy is on the rise. Even some of our elected officials and leaders attribute some of the challenges facing the nation to God instead of offering real explanations and solutions. Wake up Ghana from your long slumber. Currently it's the turn of the Chinese plundering our gold and other resources. They have destroyed our forests, rivers and farmlands. It's pitiful.

How can Africans not have an identity crisis, when they are forced to worship a European image of their lord and saviour, and at the same time forget that the same Europeans built fleets of ships, kidnapped hundreds of millions of Africans, shipped them overseas to build Europe and the Americas for hundreds of years without pay, all of this was done with the blessings of every major religious body, with the Roman Catholics and the Church of England in the lead.

Africa's traditional leaders must never surrender to a Roman God AKA WHITE JESUS.

This religion is not imposed on people. For that matter one may either choose to become a member or not. But if one chooses to become a christian then one has to to obey or or what the bible teaches. Thank God most countries of the world including Ghana enjoy freedom of worshi . If therefore one is talking about Christianity and one is not a christian then one has to be less or not to be concerned may be at all. However there are many gods in the universe besides the God of creation. Anybody is free to choose the type God /gods one will worship. But then if anyone stands on the platform of Christianity and twists or tries to twist the facts of Christianity as enshrined in the bible then members or a member can set the record straight. But if one is not a member of the religion and so the bible is a strange book to and therefore not knowledgeable about the religion then one's contribution in a christian debate may be out of touch. Christians do make sacrifices, during any holy communion they are drinking the blood of Jesus Christ.The Latin word sacrificium, ‘sacrifice’, is derived from sacrum facere, "to make holy". In Catholic liturgy, to make something holy is to set it apart by "consecration". The Christians use this word for the central moment of the Mass when the priest says the words of Jesus Christ at the Last Supper over the bread and wine in front of an altar. There do exist various occult symbols and items, on top of it the legend of the holy grail. Christianity its by his history one of the cruelest religions.How many people have died in the name of Christ, Christianity and Catholicism? Thousands and millions were killed, who refused to accept Christianity and their holy places being destroyed.Entire cities had been wiped out in the name of Christianity. Not to mention the numerous religious wars i.e. Catholic extermination camps,Catholic terror in Vietnam,Rwanda Massacres (where the catholic church had been actively involved) of course it does not end there, it goes on with the killings of Indians in South America etc.

Its very sophisticated, if you take the time to analyze it.Trying to push away African spirituality without making an effort to understand it, will surely lead you astray.There are different religons in the world with different ways how to get close to God and our creator force. One cannot say one faith system is better or even superior to another.We all have a right to practise and follow what we believe in and what appeals to us. The Akans came to the present day area of Ghana, because they refused to accept Islam and did not want to engage in constant warefare with those who were trying to impose it upon them. They didnt come to Ghana to be forced into Christianity. If one wants to follow a foreign religion, let him/her do so. But they should not condem indigenous religious beliefs out of ignorance.

If one really has a problem with his/her own culture, then he must stop practising it! That person must stop in performing Akan naming ceremonies, stop conducting funerals in the Akan fashion, stop pouring libation, stop engaging in Akan festivals such as Akwasidae, stop the practise of customary marriages, even stop bearing an Akan soul/day names, since they have a spiritual connection to the cosmology of the Akan people. They must also avoid praising Nyame/Nyankopon since this is how the Akans referred to their creator.They must stop practising all aspects of their culture.One cannot say I embrace my culture, but I reject the spiritual aspect of it. This is not possible, one does not exist without the other.

Akans are Hebrew-Aramaic folk of Jewish religion and culture. Akans are made up of Isreal-Edomites, Twi (Tawi/Egyptians) and Babylonians.

Upon all those stolen religious culture and civilization of us, they (the western world) still give us the impression, they are the civilized ones, even though, they are still living at the expense of our civilization just under a different name, believing we will ever remain blind to discover their conspiracies. They still want us to believe that they are the makers of what our fore-parents have already created for us many centuries before.

The ethnos of all missionaries in Africa included the adoption of Western culture as a necessary stage in the process of conversion to Christianity and forcing non-Christians into submission of Christianity and its conterminous Western culture. In practice,all the missionaries, catholic or protestant, demonstrated these ethos. As long as the idea originated from the `natives` it must be destroyed. The educated African has been cut off from the life of his own people. Concerning that past, he really knows little or nothing and generally cares less. Such being the case, can one wonder that the African pupils and converts alike have been quick to see and very ready to follow a trend of thought which denied, or ignored, the possiblity of anything good or useful in his own culture and religion.

Akan figures like ABA-DUA-BA or the symbol of BAAL and the ANKH (NKWA) symbol of our ancient EGypt is seen in the open place where the Roman Catholic Popes often meet their international Catholic audience, as well as the whole United Nations Confeerence Hall. The AKU_ABA symbol can also be seen as the architectural design at the entrances of many church houses. Those foreign cultures have still gone so far by selecting and using some of our Adinkra and many other symbols for their own purpuse. Either the Akan symbol of WUDJA/WUDGYA (the eye of Hrrus), or the DWENNIMMEN (Ram`s horns), any of these symbols can be found in many forms ain many art works of the foreign Christian nations or in their churches. The worse of all, our Adinkra symbol named NKOTIMSEFUOPUA (the hair style of certain attendants n the Queen-mothers court) really it is a variation of Swatisca, the symbol adopted by the German National Socialist, better known as Nazi. Still until today, our MMUSUYIDEE symbol is seen as the main symbol of the whole german military force. Also the Akan symbol of KARAFOKOMA one of our impotant royal insignia is seen in a big shape on the ground in Pentagon with the inscription (intelligence Agency of the United states of America). How come our ancient spiritual symbol becomes a property of the United States?

I am sorry to disappoint you, but the persons you refer to in your bible as holy are predominantly of Akan origin. Even though they tried so hard to distort the bible its still full of Akan language and the history of the Akan is still documented in the bible.

In order to plant their religion which was Christianity they demonized the native religions. African indigenous religions have strict moral codes, better than Christianity. Our ancestors knew God, we do not need any other God again because the christians themselves belief there is one God. We can be Christians but we should not throw our culture away and we should use our brains as well. We can pour libation as a form of prayer to our ancestors. The Catholics, don't they pray through Mary, and consider so many humans as saints but our ancestors have become demons to be cast out. As for me my ancestors are not demons. You guys can decide to use God of Abraham and all that nonsense I will use the God of Gyakari, Togbui Adzaladza, Yaa asantewaa etc. No Jewish names like John and all that nonsense they call christian names. Our culture is one of faith, our culture is the cross and the blood. What advancement has the African culture brought us. What deliverance or development or progress, has our culture brought us. I'm not saying all of our culture is wrong, there are great aspects of it, like how to talk, dress, respect your elders which other western cultures lack. But as for me the word of a God is my culture. Hallelujah,
