Is he a cabinet minister now? It takes an honest and dignified person to accept their mistakes and move on, and not try to make up lame excuses for out-out mistake.

Will Asiedu Nketia soon be wearing his wife's bra and underwear and panty-hose as well as high heels. From what we have read and glean from the story and picture, Asiedu Nketia and his wife have the same body frame, bust, size and height. Two bone to bones. The man knows he has goofed big time and has not only embarrassed himself but the country he purports to have represented. But instead of eating a humble pie, he will attempt to defend the indefensible as he cannot handle the truth in any circumstance.

Adwoa-Kwadwo Asiedua Nketiaa, what brain work did you go to do in Germany, besides suiting up for per diem and shopping? You are not cabinet minister and there is nothing you can do or sign on to oblige or bind Ghana in a contractual sense, so therefore your presence was not required. Purely this was a holiday and site seeing trip for you and you just sent the Ghanaian people the bill.

Most of the people who demonstrate against our presidents overseas are ASHANTIS. Why? UNCOUTHED people.

In the write-up above, did you read the writer mentioning former PRESIDENT KUFOUR'S NAME? Because he is an Ashanti and an NPP so the Ashantis would not demonstrate against him.

When Kufour used our money to buy USELESS GOLD CHAINS TO DECORATE HIS COHORTS, did the NPP overseas demonstrate against him?

The international community are usually well aware of the state of affairs before the president embarks on travelling anyway. The problem with some of you people is, anybody who speaks the truth to make legitimate criticism of your inept polices is viewed as an enemy by yourselves. Advice the government to put their acts together. Development is measured in human life improvement: healthcare, provision for social insurance for the aged, jobs for people, good roads, environmental quality(minimum air and water pollution), education, quality of life. Now the Europeans you referred to, every help they give us, we open our nation to them to exploit us in ways which remain incalculable, eg opening our markets to them which puts our local manufacturers on a disadvantage position and also makes our economy suffer. Grants or donations are not what we need at all. We need fair trade. If trade is fair, it will be easy to support our economy ourselves. Believe me I don't hate Mahama, I haven't met him, but I think he is a nice man. But we need something more than niceties. Our economy needs good managers and they can come from anywhere, the north, Volta, south, Greater Accra, etc. But we need management archetype to run our economy for our own good and for sustainable development.

Who are these Security Experts? Security Experts my foot. Look at the Presidents he mentioned as haven suffered from demonstrations abroad.Where is the name of PPresident Kufuor and Busiah?

Are you so called security experts saying it was wrong to demonstrate to the world the atrocities Rawlings raining on the country, give me a break.

A lot of citizens from other countries demonstrate against their leaders abroad when they do not agree with their policies. Reading the nonsense from Quason or whatever he calls himself, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that he is an Ndc sympathizer.

There is nothing wrong with demonstrating against a foreign leader by his/her citizens when s/he is on visits abroad, especially if the demonstrations are against human rights abuses. However, I do not remember seeing other nationals demonstrating against their leaders for economic reasons (including corruption) except Ghanaians in the Diaspora. There are other countries having serious economic problems than Ghana, yet their citizens do not demonstrate against their leaders when they travel abroad. I am not suggesting that Ghanaians should do what other citizens do. However, the fact is that, these demonstrations are purely for political reasons and arranged by NDC and NPP. NDC organise their supporters to welcome the president with placards saying "we love you", etc. Then NPP also organise their supporters to demonstrate against the president over the economic situation, corruption, dumsor, cocaine, etc.

Such behaviours tarnish the image of Ghana in general and not only the president. The best way to deal with matters of corruption, economic problems and cocaine is for NPP to attend some of the meetings and pose questions directly to the president rather than public display of ignorance and stupidity. Yes, they exercising their freedom of expression and the right to demonstrate but why do we want to disgrace our nation just because the president is not from the party we support?

I am sure NDC did the same when Kufuor was in power or will do the same if Nana Akufo-Addo wins the presidency in 2016. The leaders of the countries we demonstrate often laugh us. Such demonstration urging the foreign countries not give financial and material support to Ghana is very unfortunate. They even ask foreign investors not to invest in Ghana. Meanwhile, these same people send money to their families after asking foreign governments to support Ghana. What sort of double standards is that? NDC/NPP politics is the problem.

It is very sad to see people blaming mahama,who has been in power for two year(nine months of election debacle included) to be blamed for everything that is happening. We had jj, kuffour,atta mills and for over twenty years non e of them had the foresight to build a power plant for electricity eventhough the country was expanding,businesses was coming into the country and people were migrating for those presidents to have seen the urgency of this power problem emerging shortly.
Corruption,leadership,drugs,nepotism,bribery are the order of the day and did not start during this administration. Corruption exist in churches,police, lawyers, politicians and ordinary folks. We should stop the balking and fingure pointing and deal with it as a nation to minimise it.
Ghana is for all of us, so all these demontration in foreign land will not do us any good cause it tarnishes our image and hurts our developing democracy. Let us think for our nation and not worship individuals for their quest to rule ghana. ALL HANDS ON DECK.

For your information,Mr Kofi Bentum Quantson was a National Security Co-ordinator under Kufour's regime,he was appointed by Kufour and NPP man but not NDC.

Looking at the pattern and history of such senseless demonstrations it is clear they are politically motivated and very clearly sponsored by the main opposition party. It is rather disappointing that a learned man like professor Danso-Boafo will not condemn such unpatriotic acts in the most unequivocal of terms but hide behind freedom of speech to condone them. Nobody is against any aggrieved group of Ghanaians demonstrating against their president at home. But doing so abroad is one step too far. And I am ashamed that they do not even see the nuisance caused to populations of the host countries by such demonstrations. What have your grievances back at home got to do with British, German,American or Danish citizens? They are not interested in your internal affairs and you must not force them to be part of your internal problems. Indeed there is emerging evidence that such demonstrations cause a backlash against Ghanaians who have settled in those countries. Is that what we want to see happen to our very own innocent citizens? Such acts must be condemned in no uncertain terms and indeed sanctions must apply to political parties who sponsor such activities in order to score cheap political points. All you are showing the host nations is that Ghanaians are unpatriotic, do not love their own country and so investors must not go to Ghana. You know what? That mindset you seek to create in potential investors will not suddenly disappear when there is a change in government. If authorities in the sitting government are insinuating people are paid to demonstrate against them whenever they are no diplomatic assignment outside the country, then they are confirming how much they pay people to support their rallies and campaigns to maintain power. Money is hard earned in 'aburokyiri' and also, time is always money here,so I do not think people will forgo their profitable time for work to take stipends only to demonstrate against the diplomatic entourage lest tarnishing the image of their beloved country. They would definitely have tangible reasons for demonstrating.

If that is the only option we will end corruption and "corruptocracy" so be it. Patriotic politicians like Nkrumah, Busia, Rawlings and Atta Mills did not engage in stealing moneys that belong the Republic. Ghanaians everywhere and anywhere must stand up and speak truth to power in Accra before Ghana is overtaken by Nigerians, Chinese, Indians and Lebanese. We all as citizens sound the alarm bell of thieving in high places of public institutions, cronyism, tribalism never seen in Ghana like the current man at the Flagstaff House and then under John Diawoo Kufour. We must us all Ghanians shut the down corruptocrats in our body politic regardless who is in power. We are one people, one nation with one great destiny. Ghana will not allow herself citizens to be treated like second class folks by foreigners using opportunists in corridors of power. Time is now to call Mahama's tribalism against a section of people not from his Dagomba tribe, as is the case of Kassina Nkakans, Kussasis, Ashantis and the Fantis or in broader terms, Akans. We are loosing our sovereignty as a nation and people because of a corrupt NDC III led by Johmn Mahama. Akuffo Addo will lead the fight to save Ghana from foreign domination of our economy.
