  It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

  It is not worth it having a biometric registration if it lends no credibility to elections. If there is to be no verification then why did we spend that amount of money?

  It seems to me that we need a technological solution to overcome the challenges rather than doing away with NVNV. I wonder if anyone's mind is in this area.

  Kwesi Jonah must recuse himself from the committee. He has bared his thoughts, even before the committee first sitting. He cannot be an honest broker. Meanwhile, the said committee is as good as dead. I cannot remember any serious committee, composed with an even number. And why is as many as three persons representing the EC on a committee of ten. We should not forget, it is the EC deliberate and structured incompetence which has caused the situation we are in today. Why are some political parties excluded? To create a fertile ground for litigation and a recourse to head for the law courts, delay the entire process, which might lead to having to settle with the bloated register. This plan is too familiar and need not have been played again too soon.
