It would appear that those in control of the NDC, for the time being, were bent on excluding other bona fide members of the Party who may wish to lay democratic claims to who becomes the next flag bearer of the Party by excluding them even before the mortal remains of the demised President were interred. It is also symptomatic of how political party elites in Ghana and Africa worm their way into the confidences of persons perceived as likely to ascend to power positions for purposes of eventual personal economic gain at the expense of the generality of the mass of Party members and the Nation which every President swears to serve under the Constitution

Changing constantly! The time for converting some of the plants has long passed,and see hw cleverly this guy is trying his utmost to rope in the GGC as well. We know Kwabena Donkor,the expert and pointman, brought in to bring an to this problem has only been on the job for only a couple of months,however unless he unleashes 'the boom' on many of the deadwood,which currently runs the power sector,nothing much is going to happen! We have a lot of power engineers,eager to hit the ground running. But until someone in this administration musters the courage to do some serious house-cleaning,along the power-supply chain,things are not going to improve! These people will continue with the "Ananse" stories they have been telling us all this time. And I can tell you that the cabal now in place,is 'fortifying' itself with these constant and worsening power outages! What has this govt got to lose,after all the public humiliation and bashing, it has been made to suffer?

Mahama is not a deciesive leader. If I was the all the non functioning VRA staff will not be paid till whatever works they are undertaking is done. That will send a message to all gov,t employees.
Look at the Akomfem Mahama, rather jettting of to the Gambia for what when your country is burning or he does not see it that way!!!

This fool called Fletcher should stop disturbing our ears with his tired and worn-out excuses!

He only adds insult to injury by trying to shift blame on GNGC. The blunt truth is that GNGC have completed the Western Corridor gas pipeline and can supply gas to VRA. However VRA are unable to utilise all this gas to generate electricity, So dumsor persists.

VRA has had at least two years to get ready for delivery of gas from our own oilfields. Why on earth have they waited till now that the gas is ready to prepare to receive the gas?

The only name for this is sheer incompetence. Fletcher should tell us what VRA is doing to provide us with more electricity and end the dumsor.

The Energy and Power ministers must crack the whip and ensure VRA gets its act together. We cannot allow such inefficiency to continue in our public services.

The good people of Ghana deserve much better.
