OMFG! Ignorance is a killer. In the abundance of information in 21st century cyber world, Africans are still wallowing in ignorance.

Water is known to exist in three different states; as a solid, liquid or gas. The molecules are tight/compact in the solid state but less so in the liquid and even lesser in gas state.

Clouds, snow, and rain are all made of up of some form of water. A cloud is comprised of tiny water droplets and/or ice crystals, a snowflake is an aggregate of many ice crystals, and rain is just liquid water.

This simple phenomenon is learnt as basics of general science. When water is below zero degrees it freezes to become a solid i.e. ice. In the same token if you boil water above 100 degrees it evaporates into vapour to become gas. It is as simple as that. The Bible said Jesus walked on water/river but did not specify the state of the water/river. The areas around Jordan, Lebanon, Syria (Damascus) have winter periods. The slopes in Lebanon are known as Swiss alps of the orient. So a little bit of geography, physics and a bit of chemistry could have saved this fool from daring such a venture. Does anyone miss such a knucklehead? Me not. Not one bit. One idiot less. LOL!

Look I have been walking on water each winter for over 40 years on the river close to where I live. The river needs to freeze and get to about 20 centimeters thick and even small cars can drive on it. I walk on water/river in winter but cannot do the same in spring summer and fall/autumn. That is natural law of physics.

It is just unfortunate that in Africa illiterates call themselves prophets. The educated ones follow such foolish idiots because they are themselves dishonest. I think this is the best way to get rid of these charlatans who claim they are prophets. These idoits either learn to swim or sink in their ignorance one by one. It is written on wall - their days are numbered.

While the "walk-on-water" story sounds fishy, especially coming from a European source, common sense should tell you that "Idiots" will be idiots, regardless of educational level. However, I have a completely different take on this story; it is not about whether or not it actually took place, but rather of our collective stupidity of not reading between the lines to see it as one of the Whiteman's continued effort to highlight the general backwardness of 'stupid' Africans, even in the 21st Century.

If we allow common sense to prevail, we would see this story for what is. For those of us who have lived among them in places like the American South, where some the dumbest white people live, these kinds of stories cannot be used to pull wools over our eyes.
So what is a person believes he can perform a miracle and fails? Under normal circumstances, these kinds of silliness hilarity can be a subject of hilarity, but not when it is veiled in an effort to disparage Africans. Open your eyes, my people. They are making fun of you.
