The problem is rather the staff at the CAGD who the controller himself is scared of just as every minister is scared of GFA. Cheap popularity for no real point. We either all join or keep quite because I believe a lot of us keep paying(putting wait) people to do what they are paid to do and connive with others, yet we are the loudest when it comes to complaining about things.

"He said whilst Mr. Terkper has suggested that, the aggravated confusion and deep mistrust between the Controller and Accountant General and vendors be solved at a Cabinet sub-committee level, his outfit, together with many Ghanaians and civil society organisations disagree, and want an open transparent public forum featuring all the actors -the CAGD, the Finance Ministry, the vendors, consultants , professional IT persons and the Media, to explain how it came about that there were still ghosts on the country’s payroll after millions of Cedis had been spent to clean it".
Clearly, from the stated position of Seth Terkper the Min. of Finance for a Cabinet sub-committee level meeting to apparently "solve" the issue of the NDC well orchestrated and well planned thievery via the payroll system, shows a clear lack of transparency and smacks of an attempt at cover up by the NDC gov't's gargantuan thievery of taxpayer funds via the payroll system.
This is not a matter for a Cabinet sub-committee level meeting, but rather an open, transparent forum that puts the issues out in the open, so Ghanaians, CSO's, the Ministry of Finance, vendors, consultants, professional IT persons and the media are deeply involved, to critically examine the how, why, what, when, who went into and continues to go into the looting of taxpayer funds by the Mahama NDC gov't via the payroll system.
Enough of the looting already, boys abr3.
