  Ghana is a weak nation by any measure because we have weak, ineffective and inefficient government institutions. The only “buga buga” institution there ever was is the Ghana Armed forces who do not hesitate to use brute force to get what they want.
  The police forces along with BNI are weak being political and thus end up being ineffective.
  Parliament is corrupt and thus its members have become useless legislators who can be bought on an open market; they've lost the check needed in “check and balance” of the executive and judiciary branches of government.
  Justice department is for sale and have proven itself to be incompetent since they cannot win a single case against even a church mouse.
  Registrar General’s office is as pathetic as tits on a bull for registering companies in Ghana when there are no physical business address locations.
  Lands Commission/department is a joke; they register land without obtaining documented hard copies or electronic copies of pending development plans for the land. Its agents do not know when development is taking plane on a registered land and yet pretend they have oversight authority over land development.
  Ministry of Education would not know if teachers are alive or dead or if teachers and students/pupils are in class or on a farm somewhere. They've made ghost employees acceptable in Ghana.
  Our Courts are nothing but trained legal minds who have mastered the art of adjournment of cases to solicit bribes from warring parties.
  Electricity Corporation of Ghana officials do know how to ride in expensive vehicles but do not know how to be proactive and or put tracers on their own power lines to measure excessive use of power that is not paid for or accounted for through registration.
  Yes we have weak institutions in Ghana and it start in our parliament and the executive offices of presidents. Why do winning parties and their president not know it is better to focus on one or two issues that would an across the board beneficial effects on most sectors of society instead of handing out freebies to appease a rather ignorant voter population.
