Prophecies are meant to edify the body of Christ.Edification is building up!With wisdom,when God reveals something to a Prophet means He has within that revelation,the abilities and power to cause a change.
I would rather that when we prophecy,we bring out the good news out of the revelations rather than emphasising on the negative because God is bigger than whatever the Devil had planned.
Let's learn to elevate God and His Word over what the circumstances and situations are.We may face challenges in life but what God has said about us is the truth;let the weak say I am strong according to the Word of God.
If you are called as a teacher of the Word,just stay in your lane and don't confuse people please Bishop.

I am a young Pastor but sometimes I listen to our senior pastors who we are to learn the unknown from but at times I get disappointed. But the bottom line is "Revelation is Progressive" so just because someone sounded nice doesn't mean what he or she has said is true. The gospel means good news so anything below that is not consistent, if a prophet forewarne you it means God gave that prophet the solution so when someone phrophelie you will know it. Bishop should read this article himself and confirm if this what he's said? Unfortunate

For example many people refer to the "end time" prophesies in the bible that claim there will be war, famines, earthquakes etc as signs of the end of the world. However a careful study of history will show that these end times "signs have always existed in history. Slavery, wars of extermination and colonization, typhoons, hurricanes etc have always been prevalent in the world. the bible claims that even jahweh ordered some of the most brutal and despicable acts of war, slavery, rape, infanticide etc, so how is the world any different now? however the religious person will always claim that the prophecy in the bible about end times are being fulfilled. in my lay opinion these "end time" prophesies are just a bunch of nonsense, there will always be natural disasters, droughts, famines etc and as long as human beings follow religions and gods who claim to love one group of people over another, there will always be war.

this bishop is completely naive and obviously in the business of prophesying for gain so he cannot ask adherents to be cautious and questioning of "prophesies".

I would not want anything to do with this church.

When it comes to their business,they are all one in using the name of God.They have bought Mansions with money from the poor, sent their kids abroad for schooling and drive the porshest cars. it depends on the kind of prophecy that was said by the prophet, beacuse the bible command us to Jugde prophesy in other see it sauce (1 Corinthians 14:29. In the bible prophesies does only three things according to Apostle Paul's teaching on prophecy. 1)edification 2)exhortation 3)comfort all in 1 conrithians 14:3, and also we are commanded to test all spirit to see the right spirit before we accept anything from that prophet, so we have the right to speak against any prophet and prophecies if it does not go according to the leading of the spirit or creating problem and puting fer in people whiles the bible said God has not giving us the spirit of fear but rather a bold spirit, so any prophet who speaks in the name of God in other to put fear into people are speaking from their soul, never the less "every prophet who always speaks bad things about people is alos bad and fake, there must be a spiritual balance, controlled by God himself through his spirit.
