Akyems are more than half of the population of the Eastern Region. It is the wealth from Akyem that has been used to develop Ghana. 100 years of diamond mining at Akwatia, several years of cocoa and palm oil production, over 100 years of alluvial gold mining.
However the way resources are distributed in this country is why some people can pass such comments about Akyems.

How can IMANI boldly claim to have intercepted what amounts to payroll information without legal repercussions?
Secondly Dr. Nuamah ought to be ashamed for lacking in morality and higher standards above a rather low ethical standards of street level Ghanaians. What a patriot and a member of Parliament with respect for laws of the nation should have done in his circumstance is to have gone to the agencies with oversight duties of Ghana's payroll processes and told them he was no longer an employee of government in good standing the very first time he received salary payment from government after his departure. I dare Dr. Nuamah to show when precisely he notified government of the mistake. Furthermore why did he have to make installment payments when he had the government payments and should have known they were illegal payments for which he should not use? If membets of our educated and political elite class have no higher morals or obligations above Ghana's street level patriotism then we should close shop on ever changing anything wrong in Ghana.
