The best and most resilient EC in Africa. If our electoral system wasn't good, we would be killing each other after elections like most countries in Africa do. Human beings are not robots. If u steal from them, adrenaline rush will make them fight even at the peril of their lives. If they are not cheated, and you only school them to act and pretend they've been cheated, there's no way they can revolt, no matter what their leaders tell them.

The last election was an extremely clean election, even better than the U.S. elections. There's no way anyone would have fought each other aside mere screaming of electoral theft. The politicians need to know this. When ballot boxes were dumped into the sea in Nigerias elections, people ended up dying, even without the leadership of affected party calling for a revolt.

It comes naturally. The NPP and NDC should refrain from claiming they've been cheated anytime they loose elections. Electoral irregularities and theft are two very different things. It just beats my imagination how people will claim a register is overbloated, blah blah blah without using their common sense.

Assuming the register is is overbloated and there are 5 other verifications to prevent over voting, what's the big deal? A voters name is ticked in register, an indelible ink is applied to his fingers, his picture is checked, his fingerprint is checked and ticked as voted. What the fuck is the NPPs problem? Jesus.

Suffering can be relative. A man who wants a BMW but gets a base model Daihatsu (just for example) thinks he is 'suffering'. Give this same Daihatsu to another worker in a third world country, and it is the pride and joy of their life. What we are talking about here are the Basic Necessities of Life:Food,Shelter, Decent running water, transportation (sealed roads), and electricity (Not DUMSOR, we have NOW progressed to DUMDUM;). When you consider these things you will understand in absolute terms what discussion we are having.
I weep because the Leadership do not think this is what they have been elected to do, let alone try to do something about it. Until the President,John Mahama realises this, it seems Ghana is destined to become a failed state.

So those people who are still angry with the Supreme Court's ruling go and fry some sand.

Politics is not a fun game but it takes the wisdom of the voters to settle the score.

I think the electoral Commission has done an excellent job given the complexity and naiveties and political dogmatism of some of our people. No human institution is perfect that is why we keep on making changes for improvement for here is always a tomorrow.

Arguments to support my claim include: it does not take more than 20 mins to cast your vote at a polling station, poling stations are scattered all over the place, one may vote by post, no need for regular voters register as done in Ghana: election notification comes straight to your letter box at home (EVERYBODY! has one ), election results are published a few minutes pat 6pm the elections day and several other reasons.
