Kwesi Pratt is a joke if he believe Mugabe is a hero. Only in Africa do we call despots heroes. This man became a President to a country called Rhodesia, the food basket to Africa, the second best country in Sahara Africa behind South Africa and changed the name of the country to Zimbabwe.
For the past twenty years, Zimbabwe/Rhodesia that used to export food to other countries have become a country with hungry people, its economy destroyed because of Mugabe's stupid economic and afrocentric stupidities and Pratt sees this old fool as a hero.

Fighting to rid one's country a racist regime is a noble cause and I applaud any African leader who embarks on such endevour.
What you fail to realize is that, we live I a gobal village where we are inter-dependent on each other and South Africa has been able to achieve economic and independent stability without forcefully seizing the properties of itswhite citizens and that is why other African nationals are running to South Africa because of its economy and good health system.
What is the meaning of independence wen you still go back and beg the people you threw away from your country to assist you as almost all independent African countries are doing? The fact that you become independent does not mean your colonial masters should become your enemies when you need their technological and financial backing to keep the country going as South Africa has shown?
Mugabe seized the white mechanical farms and parcel it out in small pieces to black hoes and cutlass farmers and Zimbabweans are now begging for foods from abroad and you think that is good, waow!!

Ghana’s donor partners are withholding about $600 million dollars from the West African state until they see stronger commitment in the fight against corruption, Majority Leader Alban Bagbin has revealed.
Delivering a public lecture on the relationship between corruption and national development Thursday organised by the Faculty of Integrated Development Studies (FIDS) of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Wa campus in the Upper West region, the Nadowli-Kaleo MP said: “Our current score is 49 per cent, so they are waiting to see our next score before they release the funds.”
To him, “it is only the anger and revulsion of the public against corruption that would do the nation a great deal in the struggle to curb it.”
Mr Bagbin has also called for a decoupling of the Attorney General’s (AG) Department from the Ministry of Justice in order to reduce interference from the government in the work of the AG.
He said separating the two will ensure efficiency in the delivery of justice in the country, adding that the AG can only be efficient if divorced from the influence of the Executive.
Mr Bagbin called on Ghanaians to support the call for the separation of the two institutions in order to bring about efficiency into the country’s justice system.
He said the move is constitutional and not a political matter, which calls for a thorough public discussion and acceptance before it can be done during constitutional reforms.

Mugabe came to mind recently when my pastor Pastor Otabil even mentioned him as a man who ordered his party headqt to be demoed along other shacks for re zoning. Otabil said this because we can not do the same in Ghana. Sodom and Gomora, a slum that have no value to no one except the squalors.
The state of Zim is a situation that is prevalent all over Africa neither you and I are happy about and only we but no one else, not even whites will do for us. If we allow them to do it, we can only play second fiddle in it and worst clean behind them.

For a long time I have been searching for who Tony Blair was referring to in his book (A Journey) about the sentience of some leaders of the third world who were supposed to be representing their respective countries. For a long time I kept wondering what Tony Blair meant by saying Africa remains the scar in the conscience of humanity. I fumed over those comments and thought Tony Blair should be burnt at the stakes. Today, I have found answers to both questions; courtesy Kwasi Pratt jnr. I am not surprised Ghana has a lot of problems because Kwasi Pratt and his ilk have an influence on the political discourse of our dear nation. God help Ghana. We all know Africa’s woes have been our inept leaders. For Kwasi Pratt to attempt vilifying the West over Mugabe’s election speaks volumes about his gross misunderstanding of 21st century politics. Gone are the days when leaders attacked the West for all Africa’s problems and scored high marks. Today the masses know better. People see cliché statements miles away. They can read through the lines. Technology has made this world smaller and more interdependent. I wish Kwasi Pratt would be bold to make those sophomoric comments to Zimbabweans.

In your narrative you stated "Gone are the days when leaders attacked the West for all Africa's problems" For a start Africa's democratic experimentation is only 50 years and the scars of Western interference in Africa is still fresh. So it is legitimate to make judgements on the West regarding not only the scars they left in Africa but also the wounds that we are still nursing to this day.
Secondly it was this Tony Blair who has turned the Middle East into Hell on Earth. If you need to criticise Mugabe please do so as an African with your own thinking caps on and not from what the West or Tony Blair implies in some book.
