  Stop the nonsense, JB did not die for Ghana. He died of his own selfish and ends. When he could not get what he wanted he joined forces with Busia, Dombo, Bafour Akoto, Okyehene Ofori-Atta, Jatoe Kario, Jo Appiah, RR Amponsa, and co and threw bombs indiscriminately all over Ghana and killed innocent people, young old and children. He never fought for the unity of Ghanaians, he advocated for no Independence for Ghana. Christopher, the above facts are no 'ignorance'. You are a kid. JB and co were more than IS, Kokom Haram, Allshaba and the is of Ghana in those days. Of course he deserved being in prison in Nsawam for National Security of the people of Ghana.

  As someone nurtured in the environment of Danquah-Busia tradition, the Doyen's passing had traumatic effect on me. The newspapers gave a minimal reporting of his death which occurred when he was in detention. I however cut the newspaper report and mailed it to my cousin who was then a student in the Medical Academy of Leningrad. He was a lieutenant in the Ghana Army. As young as we were, we were planning to end the autocratic rule of Nkrumah. Kotoka took the wind out of our sail. May J.B.Danquah rest in peace. He really fought a good fight. Ghana today is the vision that he aspired for: freedom of expression and freedom of association, market economy with minimal state involvement in the means of production

But he is not alone being a former GLA who refuse to accept and acknowledge the Busia-Danquah ideology is a fallasy of mega proportions. First of, if the Busia-Danquah principles were viable why has the Okyehene not implemented any over his kingdom? Why has Nana Akufo-Addo not advocated it through the municipal or districts he has represented in Parliament for over a dozen years? Why did Kufour and the NPP not practice as much of the Busia-Danquah principles as the constitution could permit? It has always fascinated me when the educated faction within the NPP continue to taut Busia-Danquah ideology but has never applied it's principles in their own corners of the world but stay stuck with the foolishness. They know that verbalizing their experiences would be taboo to the nutty followers.
