The only place that Journalists can claim a right is a news conference where they are seated to cover the news conference and ask questions if questions are allowed but events like festivals and anything else they have to set up their equipments and get lost to allow smooth running of events.
Ghanaian Journalists are always looking for special treatment,even at political debates they want to be seated in the front rows which is supposed to be for guests.
Even in parliament they want reserve seats instead of seating on the floor somewhere or standing somewhere to get their news.

If they will rescind their decision why start in the first place saying Asantehene should meet them before they rescind their decision,for what, to give them soli before they rescind their decision?

While in the civilized world Journalists are struggling to get the news,in Ghana you are asking for preferential treatment and they should beg you before you cover events,give us a break,if you don't cover events to sell your newspapers social media will inform the public.

It has been reported that a reptile was pushed into the stomach of an Akyem who visited the Ashanti Regional capital.

If you look at the back of the cedi note you would see the picture of the Big six; so called because they were prepared to die for Ghana to achieve independence for which they were imprisoned. Of the six 3 were Akyems and a fourth was married to an Akyem who became the first lady.

Why then do you hate Akyems?

J. B. Danquah stood for president and was not successful. William Ofori-Attah stood for president and was not successful. Akufo Addo who is half Akyem has his story unfinished.

Akyems make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region. Today because of negative government developmental practices from independence some have become so proud that they can look at Akyems condescendingly.

Over the last 100 years revenue from the Akyem-Akwatia Diamond mine, alluvial gold, cocoa and palm oil from Akyem have been used to develop the whole of Ghana including providing scholarships for some Ghanaians.

If you abuse the ethics of journalism by disrespecting our Kings and Queens, how do you expect same to give you another chance. You guys has written all sorts of derogatorily unsubstantive stories against Otumfour and you still expect Manhyia to allow you yet another opportunity to come and exhibit your bigotries? You are even lucky of tradition modernization else you will have paid with your head for saying that.

Journalists know their job better than anybody can teach them. The idiots at Manhyia cannot dictate to journalists.

The Asantehene must meet the journalists to discuss the problem. Else, Asantehene will lose.

You must know that your predecessors handled journalists with care both local and international.

You must discontinue with YENTIE OBIAA. Otherwise, It will hurt Manhyia.
