Why then do you hate Akyems?

J. B. Danquah stood for president and was not successful. William Ofori-Attah stood for president and was not successful. Akufo Addo who is half Akyem has his story unfinished.

Akyems make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region. Today because of negative government developmental practices from independence some have become so proud that they can look at Akyems condescendingly.

Over the last 100 years revenue from the Akyem-Akwatia Diamond mine, alluvial gold, cocoa and palm oil from Akyem have been used to develop the whole of Ghana including providing scholarships for some Ghanaians.

Imagine Mahama was go to held a meeting somewhere in Ghana, why do you think it is the opposition that will be asked to prepare the place for the president? In those days, there is little out there for us to digest and more dust was thrown into our eyes and we were fed with lies, lies and lies because there is only one radio which is being controlled by the government.

Secretary general of a party opposed to colonials for independence. He brought Nkrumah to Ghana and made him what he become. It is not right to say he was an CIA agent and never wanted independence. These guys spent. half of their youth to raise the quest for independence , so how could they betray themselves at the final countdown. Something went wrong of which Nkrumah had the only answer.
