  Can someone please tell Ghanaian to use their mind small. They want miracle to happen. I guess they are practically praying that God who don't have electricity in heaven to provide them with one. Can somebody tell them they need wind and solar energy investment? Stop fooling your selves and take action.

  If all units are working at Bui Dam then why can't it produce the 400 Megawatts? The water level has no effect on the turbines which can generate power even from a bucket of water when switched on. The water level excuse is a lie. The same applies to Akosombo. Only 2 out of the 6 turbines are mechanicaly working, and the authorities for the past 16 years have failed to secure money to purchase and change the defected turbines. This is the truth. Secondly, Ghana is still supplying power to IVORY COAST, TOGO & BENIN according to contract.

  Steve, don't be silly, you have no idea how a hydro plant works so do not spew garbage on this platform. In driving a car they will tell you the faster you go the more fuel you consume. Google and learn about hydro power generation and stop this lazy ignorance which is becoming so common among the educated in GH.

  Michael, I'm not being silly, and quite aware that the faster one drives, the more fuel one consumes. I know how a hydro plant works, but what am saying is that the low water issue is a lie. They are just throwing dust in the eyes of Ghanaians. My cousin is an engineer at VRA for the past 25 years, and I know that the problem with Akosombo has nothing to do with low level water.
