  What a shame: Private businesses within Legon campus using electricity for free: This is criminal and also shows the incompetence of the ECG. Go to Korle Bu now private individuals are using electricity for free to operate their photocopying machines. The money goes into their pockets and Korle Bu (Ghana) is left to pay the electricity bill

Come out with a fair programme and stop giving some areas more of power than others. Stop sending power to the Northern whilst the south where concentration of industries and business activities are. Redirect all power to the Southern Capital cities, that's where majority, perhaps 90 % of Government revenue comes from. Priortirise and stop giving excuses. If I were MAHAMA for reason that I come from the North, I will sacrifice my area for the south, it's called political expediency.

  Can ghana government please allow us to have many ECGs in Ghana i.e. end sellers of electricity, so that each region or district can decide which one to do business with? It is only then that our current ECG will wake up. They will then figure out how to find the right sources to purchase their supply from. And for the producers, if they do their work so poorly as they are doing today, we will see which of the new ECGs will be willing to buy power from them. This issue of monopoly must stop!! It is not making most ghanaians work hard enough to earn their salaries. For example if Gt Accra is using Company A for selling power, and we in the region are not happy with its performance we the end users will force Company A out and bring in Company B to sell us power. If workers in Company A decide to do illegal connections and so they do not make enough more, there will be no PURC to bail them out. If they raise their tarrifs for poor service we just move on and let's see how many of the irresponsible workers will have a salary at the end of the month.

  ECG is incompetent end of story. Which organization is not important in this country? Baseless argument. I know a lot of people and companies in this country who are using electricity but either pays nothing or less. Most of these people are being helped by the same ECG employees. Create a system that will weed out all these malpractices and Ghana will say goodbye to energy crises. Unfortunately, you will create a system that will correct the bad deeds because you are all profiting from the bad system in place. Ghana paaaa.

How do u want pple to run business?? so if ur 24hour switch off shift ends at night u would be in bed which means no productivity that whole day and it goes off the next morning which is ur 12hour shift of lights that new day will be a new day of no productivity to.. As soon as Ghana gets a Dictator everything would be in its right channel...... Lunatics who call themselvzz leaders...
