Our experience with the quack neo-communists is that, they seize power unjustifiably through coups and counter coups, and Ghanaians only suffer dictatorship, tyranny, corruption and economic mismanagement under them. Being in power now for six years, the NDC has failed again to improve the economy simply because their fundamentals are wrong. In fact, they don't have what it takes to salvage the sinking economy.

Under normal circumstances, political parties are formed to produce leaders democratically. But in the case of NDC, a tyrant created the party with state power and resources to legitimize his illegitimate regime and cling to power fraudulently. NDC is therefore, an artificial and illegitimate party followed by stomach politicians and sycophants.

I do not think he resigned, he was sacked.

This idiot was Ghana's longest serving Finance Minister in the country's history and did absolutely nothing for the country. Though he has a very good phd but empty in the head. During his position as Finance Minister, it was the IMF technocrats in Washington that managed Ghana's economy - everything he did as Finance Minister masterminded by the IMF. This rogue was simply a 'yes' man - he did not understand governance, and was not endowed in common sense. Yet the ignorant Rawlings kept him in the Finance portfolio for 15 years because he has a phd.

While it took the Singaporean Finance Minister and the Prime Minister 25 years to build Singapore from a marshy land to one of the richest and prosperous economies in the world, this buffoon Akwesi Botchwey spent a good 15 years doing absolutely nothing. It is also this idiot who spearheaded the divestiture program and sold over 300 of Nkrumah's state owned enterprises to mainly foreigners. Never trust any african.
