In reality Dr Nii Moi Thompson, you are the only person in Ghana who had really hit the hammer on the nail with the reference of the urban growth, a situation that many people in Ghana did not think much about right in their hearts even though people might have talked about it on the surface.
I credit Kufour with his wonderful approach towards Electricity. When it started becoming real Kufour saw it and reacted with the construction of the BUI DAM, which also depends on water hence could not provide the solution. He went ahead with the deal of the construction of the West Africa Gas Pipeline with supply of Gas from Nigeria.
Today that also is not yielding the expected results due to the failure of the continous supply from Nigeria. Mahama had also put in his best with the construction of our own Gas production Plant at Atuabo in the Western region, even though the NPP initially frustrated him with this project. Now we are sure to say this is our own Gas plant, and I hope with united mentality all will be well with us as long as the Gas flow from the oil wells.
It could therefore be understood by intelligent people that Dr Nii Moi Thompson analysis is perfectly correct, when applying the intelligence of the population growth in the urban centres without the voluminous supply of power to match the energy needs of the nation.
Knowing this, there is no need to blame each other than to realize our short comings of not being smart to have a deeper look at our energy needs. At this point let us put most of our money into energy investment since we can sell to other nations that are close to us that maybe in need.
Abusing people personality brings no solution thus Ghana expects people using abusive language to provide solution to her peoples' energy needs. Finally, it is good to be wise, intelligent, rational, and helpful to Ghana with good comments that could usher us all into creativity for the interest of mother Ghana.
