You are right,some of these people apart from the money they travel to make wasted time traveling to these countries,spokespersons don't stay at their post that long but in Ghana since we don't resign our positions whenever they hear something like this they think there is problem in the government.
If some of these people can examine their brains well they will realize Dotse will prefer going back to his job where he took the one year leave than to remain in Ghana.

But having said that, I think somebody should come out to react to the rumor going round as Mpianim said.
There was a rumor the Chief of Staff was sacked but few hours after we saw a statement reportedly signed by him which means something is not right,somebody is making up stories which the government that has Minister of communications should come out to clarify.

Accra is the national capital. Workers at the various ministries live in Accra with their families. The government of Ghana in order to achieve its objectives has been holding a series of workshops in batches, sometimes lasting for more than a month, for officials from all districts of Ghana. A disturbing trend has been noticed. All these workshops are being held in the Ashanti Regional capital.

This is disturbing for 2 reasons. Firstly because the capital is Accra the government officials have their homes in Accra and not the Ashanti Regional capital. The government therefore has been paying hotel bills for these government officials to stay in the Ashanti Regional capital throughout the duration of the workshops. If the workshops were held in Accra there would be no need for money for their accommodation. The additional expense is so enormous that it could have been used to contruct schools and clinics in many needy communities across the country.

Secondly this is leading to strained family relations as government officials are spending more and more months in a year away from their families who live in Accra.

The President, Parliament, Journalists and the political parties must ensure that all such workshops are held in Accra.
