It is only in Ghana would such a dishonorably idiot be on the government pay roll. Professor Mill should be solely blamed for imposing those criminals on us. After Mills found Betty Moulds guilty of judgement debt payments the only thing he could do was to move her to the Education dept to continue her looting. Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one
by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

Could you also remember that Rawlings used to incite TUC workers to strike against Liman's government to over throw it fraudulently? And could you remember that he used to take 'Kenkey' to Legon to demonstrate how the size had shrunk under Liman and we ended up in the "Rawlings's Chain" but nobody could talk? Could you further remember that Acheampong and Rawlings used the mild IMF conditions under Busia and Liman respectively as justifications for overthrowing their governments deceitfully? Could you still remember that PNDC reintroduced IMF and the World Bank with more stringent conditions after the coup without apologizing to Liman?

I don't know what the fake leftists are talking about, and I don't believe that NPP is behind the present wave of strikes either. As far as I know, NPP is only highlighting the failings and excesses of the NDC government, hopping that they would translate into votes for the party in the next elections. And that is, in fact, a genuine and legitimate politics since the failings are true and not false. Everybody in Ghana knows that cost of living under this NDC government is unbearable, and NPP is democratically seizing the opportunity to convince the electorate not to vote for NDC in the next elections.

Frankly, I don't see anything wrong with an opposition highlighting the failings of an incapable government to wrestle power from it democratically. NDC is the cause of the strikes because of the massive corruption, over spending, reckless borrowing and overall economic mismanagement that have brought untold hardship on Ghanaians.

Moreover, NDC cannot frivolously spend $5bn of public money outside the budget in 2012 to buy the conscience of some gullible voters, and yet expect everything to be normal in the subsequent years without any difficulties in the economy.

A Party borned out of guns and roses, with blood as their sign of humilation. Since 1979 , Ghana have had no peace ! The scramble for ghanaian wealth was borned through PNDC, calling on board all disgrunted men and women in every class of our society to have their individual share of our nations wealth. Thanks sir for being realistic and frank, instead of this dream world easy talk from some quarters. There is a price to pay for borrowing, it happens with personal finances/borrowing too. Why do some people still have this wishful thinking that one can borrow from a bank and it is virtually interest-free or no conditions attached. It is not. They should let me know if they find one. This is the case of university common room or commissioned officers mess-room cheap talk; however, in the real world, things are real. If there is an alternative, I will give the government the benefit of the doubt that they would go for it. However, they are very limited in what they can do. They do not have the capacity to dictate to the IMF or other international, financial institutions when borrowing. They do not and no country does. People should get real and get used to the actual world and not dream worlds or whatever. Grow up folks if you want to be part of the world!!It is getting really tiring with the revolutionary talk that does not achieve anything except being feel-good rhetoric.

Be it as it may, we have lost the goodwill to govern ourselves. I beg to differ on Hon. Akoto's point of IMF putting embargo on employment. The fact is if they are to help us deal with the ghost names which we have refused to do, one would realize that the blotted wage bill would be cured. The next sensible thing to do is to recruit real human beings to do real jobs. If there are no jobs, why employ? The decipline and support from IMF will help shape the private sector to employ more people. The only reason why Hon. Akoto's fear would be an issue is, there will be no more job for the boys, nepotism and cronyism. If you deserve to have a job, you will have one. There is no point paying "ghosts'.
