I would have thought the Ketu South District Commissioner of Police should also be recalled. Who assigned the officers to school to quell the riot and who sanctioned and issued live ammo to be used? Are we still so stuck in the past to acknowledge that live ammo are not used to control riots or demonstrations? What's wrong with us? why can the police use water canons, tear gas or rubber bullets; unless the police administration had no ideas concerning the use of these methods of controlling demonstrations. Very pathetic.

"...shoots dead student.." tells us that the student who was shot was already dead, which certainly wasn't the case!

The student could have been shot but only got wounded. In this case, the shooting resulted in the death of the victim. This therefore, makes the usage 'shot dead' appropriate.
