There is no guarantee that Gyan wud have scored should he have taken a penalty, but there is definitely a guarantee that ppl like u n I wud have insulted him or even threatened to burn down his house n properties should he have missed. It's about time that we learn that our words leave scars on ppl soul which do na heal with time. Gyan has had his fair share of penalty drama n being the black sheep. Please leave him out of this. Indeed if is true that Afari Djan did not do his work well then he is in for trouble for himself. You can see that the people are suffering due this bad governance. You can see how wrong people are put at the wrong places. You hear them talk and you bow your head in shame. Where are the capable men and women. Do we lack them? No, no, no. We have the people but they are not getting the chance. From all indications we are sinking. Who would pull us out. Is there a curse on us. There are so many unanswered questions. How can a whole President of Ghana die this way and we are all silent as if we are hipnotized. Where are the bold men to face the challenges of life in Ghana. JJ has killed innocent people for nothing. I am saying innocent because from what we have seen compared with we are witnessing now those who were killed by JJ by all stsndard were innocent relatively. The pain is many of us. I also blamed the Coach, your first five penalty kickers should have been:
1. Dede
2. Atsu
3. Jordan
4. Gyan
5. Afful
6.Agyemang-Badu

The coach couldn't have gone wrong with our best players doing the critical job for mother Ghana. Coach Gram or whatever the name, should be held accountable for jon not well done.

This was as a result of technical problem. Akwasi Appiah has been brilliant in this tournament but with this final he was the weakest spot. He lost most of the 50-50 balls and his passes were to the oppponents which there was a need for a change and the substitute coould have easily ran down the already tired and physique opponents. Secondly, we all know that Fatao Dauda is better especially with spot kicks which he should have come to save the situation before the extra time. Thirdly, Asamoah Gyan should have been taken off earlier. Nevertheless, we players played very well; they played with cohesion should won the match in the run of pla

I agree with you,Kwadwo. Football is about taking your chances too. Ghana gave away too many passes. Atsu should have stayed on to take a penalty and the best penalty takers should have taken the first five penalties.

Let's not curse them but encourage them to be strong in future tournaments.

Our best penalty takers should have taken the first five penalties and Kwasi Appiah should have been substituted much earlier.

My advice is that believe in yourselves and win matches in the 90 minutes. If U had kept the ball on the ground and made up with speed and man-to-man passes, U would have beaten this Ivory Coast team. They were just ordinary even with all their big names. Baba Rahman, Harrison Afful, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye... U were great.!!!!!!!
