Morning Radio Hosts read insulting text messages and you think that is high esteem? Come again. There are millions of Ntafuo that you cannot match, looking at the way you express your thoughts. In this modern global world, hiding behind a tribe is 'kolo'. It is cowardly to hide behind a tribe to express your superiority. Just look around you and you will see many of the people you call Ntafuo who are better than you in many ways. Journalists must be made to understand that they do not have the monopoly over the right to question other people over professionalism.

Journalists should know they are messengers and not part of the government. I have often wondered why the NPP bothers to spend money on a party communication directorate,because if you examine the way many of these so-called 'independent' media houses structure their programs,then such expenditures are absolutely needless!
While some media outfits try their best to mask their bias,others openly flaunt their loyalties to particular individuals and political organizations shamelessly,while employing 'gimmicks' to deceive listeners about their neutrality,and adherence to the journalistic principle of balance.
Just this morning on Nhyira FM`s Kukruantumi show,an NPP spokesperson,purporting to speak on behalf of a 'glorified' erstwhile Galamsey promoter,was allowed to luanch a spurrious and scathing personal attack on Prez Mahama[being called a thief],while his his opposite, was deliberately being muzzled by the Host of the program,Kofi Asante Aning,a whimsical character,who has arrogantly and cunningly appropriated the title of "Asanteman Nkosuohehe" to himself!

That is why Ghanaians across the length and breadth of the country are unanimous that, there's no leadership in the country, no effective leadership in the country.
Clearly Ayariga has breached the cease-fire his own Boss called for, concerning the culture of insults and he is still in gov't???
A leader serious about responsible leadership and governance would fire Ayariga so hard he will not know what hit him. But what do we see, crass irresponsibility, leaderless governance, and gov't team all over the place with everybody doing whatever he or she wants, with a minister who feels he's unaccountable to the masses and should not subscribe to the principles of transparency and accountable leadership.
But if Ayariga thinks he's going to traverse the path of insults to detract, deflect and runaway from addressing the accountability and transparency issues, he should think again, he should think again.
Ghanaians are very much clear in their mind that, they would hold the Mahama-led NDC gov't totally and completely accountable, demand transparency of taxpayer funds and hold the Mahama-led NDC gov't's feet to the fire to make sure that, the culture of impunity, the lack of accountability that has led to the massive thievery of taxpayer funds and as such Ghana's economic and financial collapse is curtailed, is arrested, stopped in it's tracks and obliterated completely in our body-politic.
Ayariga can insult all he wants, but Ghana and Ghanaians would demand and insist on accountability and transparency of our taxes and that is a sacred duty and absolutely non-negotiable. The thievery ends today.

All that the media does in Ghana, especially the Jonny-come-lately private media, is criticize people and institutions, yet they are so susceptible to criticism. Democracy provides for freedom of the media, but the media is not sacrosanct; if they behave badly it's totally in line to call them to order, as Ayariga did. How on earth did the word USELESS became an insult?! Only in Ghana. How can saying that "SOME morning show hosts ask USELESS questions" become an "INSULT" or "RUDENESS" to "ALL JOURNALIST" or "GHANAIANS"?! Just like the disrespect and outright insults being heaped on President Mahama daily for no real reason, the real reason for this so-called backlash on Ayariga is tribalism. That's the truth, and everybody knows it. It's like how dare a northerner open his mouth or be assertive in dealing with us superior people? Ayariga hasn't done any wrong by saying “some morning show hosts ask useless questions”, and owes nobody an apology. What tribal hypocrisy! Ghana will never progress until we accept the simple fact that in today’s Ghana all Ghanaians are equal.

For the respect we would want to believe he has for his President, his fellow ministers and all who signed onto that code of conduct and ethics of their office, Mahama Ayariga needs to honourably resign to save face for his gov't.
It is the height of irresponsibility for a public servant who is serving at the pleasure of the President by virtue of the mandate of the citizenry, to denigrate and insult the citizenry under whose pleasure the President serves.
Mahama Ayariga should not get it twisted, because he is finitely and intimately accountable to the citizenry just as his President, John Mahama.
This is even aside of the issue of his lack of transparency and accountability expected of his office most especially when taxpayer funds are involved.
The money used for the tournament, was it Ayariga's own money?
All Ghanaians are equal and all Ghanaians expect that you account for all of us, our money.
