It is sad President Mahama continue to appoint people like Tractor Ayariga, the tractor thief to be a Minister.

This fool should stop the nonsense that he is defending the Blackstars Players as an excuse because nobody is attacking the Players but the thieves who call themselves Officials and hiding behind Blackstars to steal money.

These crooks held themselves above everybody as incorruptible and sent many to the gallows and various forms of imprisonment, whilst bleating and pumping their chests with that battle cry "probity and accountability....ding dong ding dong". Fast forward 2009, it turns out that this mad cow diseased Ayariga, determined for himself that he is entitled to 10 tractors out of many tractors Kufour imported and allocated to the regions up north.

His attempt at robust defense of non-disclosure of how the budget for AFCON 2015 was disbursed does not pass mustard. How is it an insult to the Black Stars if one will want full disclosure of how money was spent at AFCON 2015? It is not enough to say we spent $8million without disclosing the full details, who got what, when and how they got what they got. For a congenital thief who stole 10 tractors, and God only knows how much he has stolen so far, since then, we will be foolish not to probe and interrogate how money was raised and who got what, when and how. He is feigning anger to hide some shitty deals.

Only in his knucklehead will he think, we would just roll like dogs and lick everything he says. Once a thief, we should never give this idiot of a minister a carte blanche to do whatever he likes. That is how they steal money. Already he has said he does not even know how and who sponsored and airlifted the over 500 supporters, most of whom will likely be NDC fool-soldiers, to Equatorial Guinea. Is he for real? Did the supporters pay for their own way, hotel and accommodation? You and I know that is how money is siphoned and Mahama Ayariga must be made to be accountable to we the people. Probity and Accountability has come home to roost, foolish MP must fall in line or be forced out. Nobody has insulted the Black Stars, that is the diversion he would want and portray, but it is not washing.

We all listen in on his interview and the need to be angry about the stupid questions put before him by Captain Smart on Adom FM's Dwaso Nsem morning show. I don't even know why he honoured that invitation to one of the known radio or media outfit typically renowned for reporting rubbish when it comes to anything under the Mahama-led NDC administration. How unfortunate that was, advice is abound not to repeat such again since what just happened yesterday served as a catalyst to deny any further interview to that outfit and its appendages elsewhere across the country by any NDC government officials henceforth.

Enough has been tolerated over the all too often one-sided journalism under the guise of the so-called freedom of speech and we're not going to allow that anymore until a semblance of objectivity enshrine in that same freedom of speech and practice successfully the world over is practically embraced by these "unwarranted press mushroomers" calling themselves legitimate media houses across the spectrum. It's that simple.

Now, as my uncle may jokingly put it, thus, "It's only when a mosquito lands accidentally on one's testicles that the necessity of cautiousness creates the tendency to solve a major problem amicably avoidance of violence." So then, until lessons are learnt, none of the ministers under this administration will and I repeat, will grant these politically imbalanced mushroom media houses any interview whatsoever hereinafter.

He being a northerner and a failed northern president, one narrow way to canvarse sympathy for him is to make his own people feel denegrated by other communities. This way, the notion of many minority ethnic and deprived group may develop apathy to the NPP in particular. Otherwise, which journalist in this country for once did insult a sitting president? It's the president who rather uses deceptive insults all the time. But sometimes I feel happy when the NDC gives it back to journalist in particular. At the time they went about buying their brains and throwing thrashy policies to us, the journalists looked on unconcerned. Now that it is hitting them hard, they will also complain.

What makes these Radio-Talk-Show Hosts think that they have all the rights to put every one, including the highest authorities in the country, under the microscope but no one has the right to question their professional competence?

These Talk-Show hosts have for far too long been allowed to turn their studios into everything but their very core duties of informing, educating and entertaining the public.

The polarized political atmosphere, coupled with the numerous sycophantic guests have helped in puffing up the ego of some of these hosts into falsely believing that they can never go wrong as long as they sit benind their microphones, which in actual fact, may be quite the opposite most of the time.

These hosts, at times, turn their studios into Law courts where they virtually make pronouncements on cases still pending in courts as happened in the recent famous KKD case.

I am surprised that Mr. Ayarega, who stepped out of the crowd, so to say, to educate those journalists, who out of ignorance were asking "out-of-place" questions such as giving details of budget statements over radio - a job supposed to be carried out by Accounting officers at the ministry and the Auditor General's outfit. Is this commotion against Mr. Ayarega because he "had the audacity to school" the almighty chairman Sefa-Kai about the right procedures that goes into the rendering budgetary accounts which obviously he did not know?

The minister has no apologies to render anyone, and if anything at all, it should be those ignorant but puffed up journalists who should thank him for the free tutorials, which some are terming as insult. Ghanaians did not fight hard to dislodge dictatorship from our society only for it to be replaced by A DICTATORIAL PRESS.

A journalist in Ghana thinks he knows all, from defence, economics, politics, social, science, medicine, environment, international affairs, et al. In other places, journalists specialise in specific areas, so they come with credibility and authority. Not in Ghana. It amazes me when journalist question even security experts with doctoral degrees in their field about well thought thru professional security analysis, and attempt to poopooo such analysis. Journalist in Ghana must learn. I look forward to more people standing their grounds against such corrosive journalism. However, Mr Ayariga, next time we expect a budget before the event, and present it only to mandated bodies, not media houses. If they are not lazy armchair journalists, then know where to get the info they need.

Democracy provides for freedom of the media, but the media is not sacrosanct; if they behave badly it's totally in line to call them to order, as Ayariga did. How on earth did the word USELESS became an insult?! Only in Ghana. How can saying that "SOME morning show hosts ask USELESS questions" become an "INSULT" or "RUDENESS" to "ALL JOURNALIST" or "GHANAIANS"?! Just like the disrespect and outright insults being heaped on President Mahama daily for no real reason, the real reason for this so-called backlash on Ayariga is tribalism. That's the truth, and everybody knows it. It's like how dare a northerner open his mouth or be assertive in dealing with us superior people? Who does this Ayariga thinks he is to insult journalists for just asking about how taxpayers money was spent on soccer tournament? The public as well as any body in office should know that the journalist are there to put these hired and elected officials in public places on alert that they can't go free with their misdoings.

I read it in the BBC News that during President Obama's State of the Union Address in January, one of the oldest bench member of the Supreme Court was caught nodding off. Last Thursday, at an event in George Washington University, the moderator not even a journalist put a question about that incident and this old intelligent bench member admitted that she and the bench members had a dinner prior to the President's speech and just couldn't resist taken a 'good California Wine' after the dinner. You see how the Judge answered the question which in the long run provoked laughter among the audience. Comparing the two questions or scenerios above which warrants insults to either of the journalist who was asking for how taxpayers money was used or a moderator of an event which got nothing doing with Mr. Obama's State of the Union Address.

NDC fraternity should use their brains sometime to acknowledge faults of their men in positions rather than defending them. Ayariga is totally wrong of his pronouncements and needs to be condemened for that. E&OE.
