  Western region, as it stands, is the most ignored region in Ghana. Why? Opinion varies but look at their roads. A region with such potentials should have good roads as a first sign of any government commitment to transform the region through private partnership.
  
  Resources from the region is used to develop other region and the most successive governments can do is to entice them with vain promises for their votes. After that ignoring comes with a knockout punch.

  Western Region is not unique. Every region in Ghana has no roads. All the money is in the pockets of useless politicians, including JJ. Please, don't deceive yourself and other people.

  What is this fool talking about? Is Western Region immuned to the economic mismanagement of Ghana under this government? Why don't you, Garbrah, leave government and go invest in Western Region if the reward is that attractive? No industry, regardless of its location, is untouchable in this economic malaise compounded by lack of power, high taxes and loan-sharking interest rates.

Rather than saying it is the industrial POWERHOUSE why doesn't this guy just say it is an industrial base?? Ohh Ghana, we need to start cutting our coats according to our size...   If you look at the 5 cedi note you would see the picture of the Big six; so called because they were prepared to die for Ghana to achieve independence for which they were imprisoned. Of the six 3 were Akyems and a fourth was married to an Akyem who became the first lady.
  
  Why then do you hate Akyems?
  
  J. B. Danquah stood for president and was not successful. William Ofori-Attah stood for president and was not successful. Akufo Addo who is half Akyem has his story unfinished.
  
  Akyems make up more than half of the population of the Eastern Region. Today because of negative government developmental practices from independence some have become so proud that they can look at Akyems condescendingly.
  
  Over the last 100 years revenue from the Akyem-Akwatia Diamond mine, alluvial gold, cocoa and palm oil from Akyem have been used to develop the whole of Ghana including providing scholarships for some Ghanaians.

Also, the tribal lines aren't that clear cut sometimes. See how you have clarify that Akufo Addo is half Akyem? You are getting sucked into JJ and his NDC tribal divide conquer tactics. I read the things you write about and I envision you to a guy with a big heart and big ideas. Where are you getting this little thoughts from, my brother?
