The brutalization of the citizenry by the Army at the behest of the NDC gov't, has to stop because this is a democratic state and Ghanaians are not ready, would not tolerate the mayhem, the violence, the intimidation, the repressiveness of the citizenry, reminiscent of the PNDC era.
It is in our history, would remain in our history, and continue to be buried in our history forever.
This is the dawn of a new age of democratic governance, accountability, transparency, rule of law and the democratization of the rights and freedoms of the citizenry as enshrined in our constitution.
The Ghana Army should not be seen to be fighting a proxy war for an NDC gov't that has failed it's people, by instilling fear, intimidating and perpetrating violence on the citizenry.
Ghana deserves the best.

What Ghanaians would not tolerate is an NDC gov't that has failed, continues to fail, and employs the security apparatus of state to instil fear, erode the freedoms and rights of the citizenry to transparent, accountable and good governance, rule of law, the pursuit of happiness, in a democratic dispensation, unlike some jurisdictions like in North Korea, some parts of the Middle East, North Africa etc, etc.

BOKO HARAM came into being because the Nigerian government had always been corrupt and the marginalized and the disregarded few used that as their incentive to take up arms under the guise of religion to cause havoc in the areas they can control.

My only wish is that BOKO HARAM should have taken out their frustrations on the government that had always been corrupt and not on innocent people who basically have no say in determining how the national cake is shared or distributed.

So if you don't want Ghana's own BOKO HARAM coming into reality, then destroy the fertile grounds that seem to support such ideals of frustrated anger by kicking out the thieves who call themselves politicians because they are the lightening rods for security threats...... just saying.
