Afriyie Ankrah looted and upon uttering the famous words "open sesame" in the story of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, he was gleefully welcomed into the grotto of Ghana's economic collapse, described by Prof. Amoako as the den of criminals.
Adu Asare is also in there so it's no surprise he's defending Mahama Ayariga.
Besides the record is clear. The Mahama-led NDC gov't is thieving the resources of the state and the evidence is there to support this position.
The Supreme Court has given it's verdict of a number of such cases, and incidentally, a former Attorney General Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu-Citizen Vigilante was forcefully shoved out, when he suffered a bout of consciousness and resolved to stem the tide of wanton thievery by the Mahama-led NDC gov't. It never happened and today, Ghana is in a financial and economic catastrophe and chaos. So what is Adu Asare going on about?

The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.

This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

Yes, even the curtains JJ did not buy. They had to be provided by the state! Furthermore, the Rawlingses were allowed to keep the state-owned factories they stole - Nsawam Cannery and Cocoa Processing Factory plus US% million in judgement debt payment previously denied by the Kufuor administration but authorized by Mills and Mahama. Why would Rawlings bite the hand that feeds him so generously?!

Chairman Wontumi is as hypocritical as Rawlings. The Kufuor administration also went on a looting spree but Wontumi never said a word then!!! NPP cannot re-invent itself as an anti-corruption crusader. Hell no. They are as rotten as NDC and they are only struggling to get back in power so they can continue with the looting.

Does Wontumi hold Rawlings in so much awe that he feels we need to hear from him and how exactly will that benefit the country? Why not go dig up the graves of Kwame Nkrumah, Kutu Acheampong, etc to also come and voice their opinion?

When the entire country should be making a concerted effort to come up with strategies to address the current economic challenges, we have to listen to such unhealthy garbage from prominent people in the country. He is a president for the republic of Ghana, so you are also a citizen of Ghana. Rawlings has done well in stabilizing Democracy for us in this our republic. Democracy is a system of Government which includes everybody living withing it's geographical territory. President JDM has ever make it known to this our republic " that all are cordially invited in solving our economic woes".
