"The Presidency has become a den of criminals"- Prof. Amoako(Political Science Lecturer).
Afriyie Ankrah looted and upon uttering the famous words "open sesame" in the story of Ali Baba and the 40 thieves, he was gleefully welcomed into the grotto of Ghana's economic collapse, described by Prof. Amoako as the den of criminals.
Adu Asare is also in there so it's no surprise he's defending Mahama Ayariga.
Besides the record is clear. The Mahama-led NDC gov't is thieving the resources of the state and the evidence is there to support this position.
The Supreme Court has given it's verdict of a number of such cases, and incidentally, a former Attorney General Martin Alamisi Benz Kaiser Amidu-Citizen Vigilante was forcefully shoved out, when he suffered a bout of consciousness and resolved to stem the tide of wanton thievery by the Mahama-led NDC gov't. It never happened and today, Ghana is in a financial and economic catastrophe and chaos. So what is Adu Asare going on about?

There is an in built incentive for senior managers to purchase expensive luxury vehicles because they are allowed to buy them upon retirement. This practice must stop. It is also time to fire those who made this decision to serve as a deterrent to others. All we do is bark. No teeth.
The excuse of Lexus and Land Cruiser being in the same class is dumb. Why pay $15,000.00 more then?

I am a ghanaian working in the UK civil service and I won't dare taking a bribe or indulge in any corrupt practices .I know that if i am caught I will lose my job,arrested,prosecuted and jailed.The fear that I will be caught,prosecuted and jailed is enough to deter me from indulging in corruption.In Ghana civil servants are happy to be corrupt because they know that nothing will be done to them when caught.How can Ghana progress with a culture which tolerates and glorifies corruption? No wonder the nation is not progressing and will not progress until the nation gets a government ready to face corruption with iron hands.
