WE NEED SENSIBLE AND EXPERIENCE PEOPLE TO LEAD GHANA. VOTE THE USELESS NDC PARTY OUT IN 2016. MAHAMA DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING. HE IS ONLY CELEBRATING THE POSITION HE HAS. VOTE HIM OUT IN 2016.
WE HAVE NO SNOW TO DEAL WITH. NO BITTER COLD TEMPERATURE TO DEAL WITH. People who have these 80% of the year have developed their countries and made life comfortable for themselves.
WE HAVE GOLD, DIAMOND, OIL, GOOD LAND FOR FARMING, WE ARE NOT LANDLOCKED AND WE HAVE TIMBER. We however have THIEVES IN POLITICS and 90% LAZY AND FOOLISH CITIZENS; so with all the good things we have been blessed with that can make life comfortable, WE ARE POOR. IT IS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. Every foolish person who goes into politics thinks even without any tangible contribution to the development of Ghana, deserve FREE CAR, FREE PETROL, POLICE ESCORT, FREE ACCOMMODATION, LOTS OF CASH REWARDS, A HOUSE BOY AND ANOTHER HUGE SUM OF MONEY AFTER THEIR TERM IN OFFICE FOR MAKING GHANAIANS EVEN POORER.
ARE WE NOT FOOLISH?
If you are not sure of the answer, look at the EUROPEANS AND NORTH AMERICANS. They don't have the FAVOURABLE WEATHER WE HAVE ALL YEAR ROUND, BUT THEY HAVE DEVELOPED THEIR COUNTRIES. So in conclusion, WE ARE VERY FOOLISH. IN FACT, VERY, VERY FOOLISH AND LAZY.

The lady meant that Ghana is experiencing "a false sense of peace".
She means Ghana has not exploded because the people are afraid of the damage that the military can visit upon them. She means, the undercurrents are not peaceful. It is like the sea that appears to be calm with undetected tsunami-like current bubbling beneath. She is very right, just that people are like ostriches. They bury their heads in the sand and when they don't see danger ahead, they believe there's no danger ahead.

The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.
This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

You go to a Christian mission school because you agree to follow all the rules that govern the school. If muslims feel marginalized in a Christian school why won't they establish a shool of their own that has what they need from the Christian school? "If you go to Rome you do what the Romans do" Is that not the old adage? I went to a Christian mission school with many muslims who went to church without complain. It did not take their religion from them. They prayed on their own anyway and no one stopped them. They had to go to church because that was the rule for the entire school. Muslims and Christians from other denominations compulsarily went to church. All of them had their qualifications and left and continued with their life and religion. It was kind that they were torelated and that is what all religions should do.

"Negative peace" is a political science term. It is defined in relation to "positive peace," which is something like social justice. Negative peace implies the mere absence of open violence, whereas positive peace involves the additional presence of concepts like justice, harmony, love, etc. Positive peace is preferred because it fosters a longer-lasting, more enduring peace. Negative peace may break out into hostilities at any time.
To use a metaphor, negative peace would be curative medicine, while positive peace would be preventative medicine. It comes down to whether just the effects have been remedied, or whether the root causes have been remedied as well.

Sarpong and his girlfriend Vicky who have been dating for 20 years were doing some yard work. Sarpong was working hard cleaning the BBQ grill while his girlfriend vicky was bending over, weeding flowers from the flower bed. So Sapong says to his girl "Your ass is almost as wide as this grill" She ignores the remark.
A little later, her boyfriend takes his measuring tape and measures the grill, then he goes over to his girl while she is bending over, measures her ass end and gasps, "Geez, it really IS as wide as the grill!" She ignores this remark as well.
Later that night while in bed, her friend starts to feel frisky. The girl calmly responds, "If you think I'm gonna fire up the grill for one big wiener, you are sadly mistaken."

Sometimes common sense can help us do things right, let us have religious tolerance in the country.
If we don't want them to practice their religion publicly in the Christian mission schools we should equally not compel them to worship as Christians.

Vicky Hamah a tourist visiting Egypt is wandering through a town, when he happens
upon an Arab washing his camel. He watches the Arab fondle the camel's
testicles as he announces the time to a passerby. In awe,Vicky the tourist
watches the Arab. Another person stops to ask the Arab the time and
again he massages and fondles the testicles. After he again tells the
time, Vicky the tourist is completely flabbergasted. He watches him then for
an hour as people go up to him for the time and with each one, he
fondles the camel's testicles!
The tourist finally had to know. She went up to the Arab and said,
"Excuse me, sir, but I couldn't help but notice that you can get the
time just by feeling your camel's testicles do you know you can make a million dollars in Ghana with that tricks! How do you do it?"
"Quite simple. Bend down."
Vicky the tourist bends down, as the Arab pushes the testicles out of the
way and says, "Do you see that clock over there?"

You may not agree with her, but you are seeing what is happening. Every aspect of our national life must be well defined in constitution.
Religious demonstrations are not to be taken lightly as these would lead to great disturbances in any country.
What these demostrations may lead to is that the government may have to stop help fund "mission" schools and so every religious group that wants to train its children in its religious beliefs has to establish its own schools and be ready to pay its teachers. If this happens where then lies the national cohesion that we seek to build and maintain for a united country?

Vicky, you are brilliant. And it is true. This coercive force was a brain child of Rawlings during his brutal coercive regime. It was done by way of recruiting Ewes and northerners into the security forceS. It was The reason and only reason that he was able to hang on to power for all those brutal years. Years that saw no meaningful economic growth and welfare of the people. When Kuffuor came on the seen, there was some peace. Then Atuguba and the SC decided for Mahama. They know they stole the crown and therefore using the security forces to keep them in power. And the NDC will unleash the brutality of the security forces on any one who dares tell the truth. You sit down and ask yourself, is NDC a party that should be allowed to exist. They do so only through coercive force supported by NDC security forces as exixt in GHANA TODAY.
