I will accept the shortfall from the hydroelectric power generation because of low water level.That said,I will not accept the excuse that the inconsistent supply of gas from the West Africa Gas Pipeline from Nigeria as the cause of dumsu.I am saying this because we can get gas or feul from different places.It makes sense buying power from Ivory Coast than staying in darkness and collapsing business.On a more serious note,if we have thermal plants in place that are not working then those Administrators and Engineers must tell us their own stories.I am beginning to susopect that this dumsu nonesense is a deliberate political strategy.I will say that Ghana should not wait for Nigeria alone to feul our thermal plants.The solution is to find feul somewhere or to buy power from Ivory Coast for now.Thank you.
