Why would he say such things, knowing very well that Nana Addo, Sir John, and Kennedy Agyepong's unguarded utterances caused the Nana and the Party's defeat in 2012?

Was this Nana Yaw Osafo Marfo's, Yaw Boateng Gyan's-esque gaffe, or antiquated politics intentional to sabotage nana Addo's third trial?

In 92 the tribal propaganda was that if Adu Boahen won all foreigners, including our brothers from the North who carry the Zongo with them wherever they go, would be repatriated. Gripped with fear, with the "Alien Compliance Act " of Busia quoted to add flavor to that propaganda, many foreigners( Nigerians, Malians, Togolese Trokosi... etc.) were forced to register to vote with the blessing of Rawlings. In fact in 92 elections the then attorney General, Trokosi Obed Asamoah, announced openly that nobody has the right to prevent anybody from registering to vote. The refuse state categorically who was a Ghanaian. The only option to prevent those aliens from voting was to fill a form, which was available at the points of voter registry, challenge any individual who you deemed not fit to vote in my Ghana. And this form is signed in the presence of the electoral officer. The idea was that those challenged forms would be forwarded to the court and you the complainant would appear before a magistrate to prove your case. ' on dit Yesu Chris en francais'. That was the beginning of the Stolen Verdict. And contrary to that 'decree' nobody was invited to the courts to prove a case. That is criminal NDC for you.

With all due respect to my kinsman, -- Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe -- I urge my countrymen: "Don't be petty".

The comments attributed to the former finance minister are not inward-looking. His views were politically motivated, -- i.e., flawed at worse. But they are no way diabolical, or denigrating to any of our ethnic groups.

Come to think of it, there's some truth to the former finance minister's remarks. The undeniable fact here is that, it is incumbent upon all of us to safeguard our resources: including our human capital.

This begs the question:

Who is best equipped to manage the resources of our country?

In a democracy like ours, the answer to this question lies in the will of the people.

The former finance minister was only making a pitch for the will of the people. That is politics.

It's perfectly alright: unless we forget that, all politics is local. In other words: you tell whoever you're with, what they want to hear.

Let's stop blowing things out of proportion. The problems facing our country are huge: we have not yet even scratched the surface of the problems ahead of us.

If we think "dumsor" is bad enough, let's wait and see what will happen when crude oil hits $10.00 a barrel.

Akans are tired of all sort of intimidation by the minority in the country. How long do we have to sit unconcerned and harbor all sorts of your stupidity without voicing out our grievances?

Any concerned Akan will bear with Mr. Osafo Marfo that when NPP gave power to NDC in 2009, the Highway from Accra to Kumasi had been started already. As soon as NDC took over, a stretch of the road from Nsawam to Suhum less than 30-miles has been neglected up to date whilst new projects have been going on in other regions and districts who do just add peanut to the state coffers. Is that not a legitimate call by Mr. Osafo Marfo?

Nyaho Tamakloe is lucky to have had Accra to be the capital where money from Akan areas have been used to developed the place for him. Nyaho Tamakloe should take a time and visit some remotest cocoa growing areas in Eastern, Ashanti, Western and Brong Ahafo Regions and see how these poor farmers whose toil made you have free education are suffering with lack of good roads, water, electricity, shabbily elementary school buildings for their wards who are in child labor contributing to the national coffers without getting anything in returns.

Neither Osafo Marfo nor Akuffo Addo owes anyone an apology. There are so many questions about Nyaho Tamakloe's membership and loyalty to the NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY.

Sometimes when I hear him speak, judging from the contents of his utterances, I am always at sea as to what his correct age should be.
More often than not, he sounds like a preschool child. The level of his maturity can only be measured along with the preschool children.

I sometimes wonder if he had some friends at all.If yes, do they often listen to him?

His friends, cohorts and henchmen should do him good by talking to him.

Nana Addo did not make that statement so I do not understand why Nyaho Tamakloe is asking him to apologise on behalf of the NPP.

I wonder why people who are supposed to know better turn out to disappoint the people.In the first place.The Tape is Anonymous.Second,it's a Criminal Offence to Secretly record the Meeting of a Political Opponents or anyone without authorisation.That is the main reasons why Nana and any Sane person should not give audience to that Criminal Anonymous Tape.

I don't believe the meeting was attended by only Akyem members of the party, since the meeting was held in the Eastern Region. The NDC is noted for their lies and vile propaganda. Comments by to people in the NPP party, like Dr. Tamakloe only go on to create unnecessary confusion within the party.

I have been trying to send the message about NDC's tribalism across, without success; people in the party seem not to hear my cries, heed to my calls or simply no interested. But this is an opportune time for the NPP and its leadership to educate Ghanaians and inform people that tribalism doesn't have a place in the party or Ghana in general. The NDC on the other hand always try to discriminate against Akans, by removing anyone of them from high gov't positions only to replace them with persons from other tribes. It's wrong! It's important that the message is spread to all corners of Ghana.

So NPP should seize the opportunity to bring people's awareness to this horrible tribal tricks that the NDC wants to use. The earlier we held the bull by its horns the better it would be for the party and Ghana as a whole. Tribalism is dangerous and people need to speak about it until the NDC abandoned it!

What the NDC don't seem to realize is that they'r'e making damning criminal statements that also reveals that they're capable of doctoring voice tape recording to achieve their aim.

The NDC is desperate; they can see clearly that their days are numbered and that's why they're using fraudulent means to win the sympathy of Ghanaians. But this time around, it just won't work! The NPP leadership should be smart and fight off these crazy schemes by the NDC before it gets into the heads of unsuspecting Ghanaians---some people are naive---who may be tempted into believing that what their hearing on the airwaves are true. I urge NPP leaders not to chicken out when the debate is on, but expose the NDC by telling the truth to the people. It's time to talk about this dangerous issue and let the public be the judges. The truth will always prevail.

As I've pointed out, the NPP should seize the opportunity to rather inform the populace and educate them about tribalism which the NDC is using as a tool to cause widespread disaffection of the Ghanaians electorate.

The NPP is never a tribal party the Danquah-Busia-Dumbo tradition will forever remain. The NDC have tried all they can, since 1979 to marginalize the NPP; they removed all Akans from high gov't positions and replaced them with people from other tribes. It's something that's dangerous. Now they've turned around to accuse the NPP of being tribalistic. That cannot be allowed to pass without standing strongly against it.

NDC is "Sasabonsam" party and it's time to expose all their evil deeds. Give them no chance to poison the air with lies.

Nana Akufo-Addo is not connected to what's being spread on the airwaves purporting to be Mr. Yaw Osafo Marfo's taped voice recording. Instead the NPP should not chicken out when the debate is on; they should rather seize the opportunity to inform Ghanaians what the NDC has been doing, which I believe many people would agree to. Tribalism is dangerous; it's in the DNA of the NDC and people should be allowed to talk about it. That's the best way forward.
