Maybe he did not talk about the Kufuors and the Obetsebis at that time because he had not had enough of the theft.

So now that he's had it, so let's back him up.

Circumstances change. Not everyone talks about things at first, but as time goes on, repetition of the same mistakes can elicit responses from even the most reticent sources.

So don't just insult.
Focus on the content of his message.

Ghana is a very richly-resourced country. We need to do better.

I agree Oteng-Adjei should have turned over the automobile put at his disposal when he run the Energy portfolio,but let nobody overlook the obvious truth that funds earmarked for the acquisition of these vehicles, could never have been applied to the electrification project itself.

While in office, you use it for all your personal and your wife's and concubines' chores and whatever "business" you're running on the side.

Then, when you leave office, you keep as many as you like for yourself, as long as there's no public outcry against the crockery, because you consider your action a deserved reward for your "hard work" while in office.

And you feel no guilty conscience for denying the people their electricity, for denying the nation some progress. None.

Who should pay back the loan while you keep the state's assets?

Our homes have become show houses for cars mindless of how much capital we have locked up in our garages and compound space.The great rich we read about maintain single very good cars and change only when after many years,but in Ghana people show off by the number of cars they change daily. So sad that the status symbol of a Blackman is number of cars he or she has but not what good come out of their efforts. Even if by monies genuinely acquired but with stolen taxpayers money. This fixation to cars must change so that the locked up capitals can be used to alternatively invested to generate employment for our people. We should get our priorities right.

In a every civilized government,the PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OF EVERY MINISTRY or DEPARTMENT takes inventory before that officer leaves the office.

It is therefore shocking and utter disbelief for a THIEF like OTENG-ADJEI to tell Ghanaians that HE DID NOT STEAL THE CAR, AFTER LEAVING OFFICE FOR SIX MONTHS.

IF HE DID NOT STEAL THE CAR, WHY DID HE CONTINUE TO USE THE CAR FOR SIX MONTHS before returning it to the Department?

It seems to me the parliamentarians were being linient with him for endorsing he did not steal it.

He is one of the NDC CRIMINALS. The Attorney-General's Department must prepare a ducket for him to appear before court.

If the court sets him free, then he is free to move around.

If this is the magnitude of money we are losing to white collar criminals masquerading as public officials then there is no need for the security forces to go after other hard core criminals employing other methods to make money.On relative comparison what the country lose to white collar criminals who walk off Scot free far,far exceed what conventional criminals steal.It is interesting to note that it is an abomination and a sacrilege to talk about corruption in public institution why because very top public officials and politicians in position of responsibility are involved.You will be victimized by the system because corruption has been institutionalized by top guns who control and manage the system.That is why the Director General of Ghana Health Service dubiously and fraudulently implicated a doctor with a mental illness who reported corruption at Effia Nkwanta hospital killing patients with letters copied to then Health Minister Alban Bagbin.The story of Patient Sakpetey who died in Effia Nkwanta because he could not pay a bribe of 50 Ghana Cedis for blood transfusion widely captured in both social and traditional media triggered the sacking of the doctor.The Ghana Health Service instead of investigating the blood bank at Effia Nkwanta and administer disciplinary measures picked on the doctor suspected to leak the story to the media.The Ghana Health Service started the man hunting by calling for the patient's folder in an attempt to fault the doctor.Unable to find fault they then pretended the doctor needed psychiatry assessment.The doctor had a hint of a conspiracy to victimize him with a mental illness by the hierarchy of GHS and therefore decline an invitation by the Medical Board.Even in absentia the doctor was condemned as having a 'possible delusional disorder' and subsequently sacked on grounds that he refused compulsory treatment with the help of then Health Minister Alban Bagbin.The case has been willfully gagged up at the Fast Track High Court to cover a criminal and illegal action by the Ghana Health Service.

The thief then went through Adjei"s’s pockets and searched him. All the thief could find on Adjei was 20 pesewas.
