  there are more robberies per capita in Chicago/NYC/DETROIT etc than the worst city in Ghana yet these twerps make it seem like they live on heaven avenue back home and all their neighbors share the same DNA with mother Theresa. Gtfoh

  I had a similar break-in in my office, how ever the CCTV footage showed the G4S guard coming out of the office with his hands under his long "unapproved" dressing. When quarried his said he used the wash room in my office when there are four other wash rooms out side my office.

  Most of these so called investors are not investors they are drug dealers ; gold dealers; and money launders and black market dealers criminals ; if you have cash in your home you keep it in the bank you do keep large sums of cash in your flat besides ; simple logic should tell these people that apart from the local security services they should always insure their goods ; the fact is that these criminals posing as business men will never do that and when they are robbed they complain beside most of these people are scared to go to police or the courts because they fear they will be exposed ; this idea that investors will leave Ghana because of the spate of robberies in their bungalows is complete BOGUS ; these people are bandits themselves; if they have the balls they can sue the GS4 in court. .

  What is deemed a large amount of cash varies between individuals, and I'm sure those within the expat community will have enough cash to hand that will make it a worthwhile target , plus electronic items and personal items with an intrinsic value.. Those here may not leave but it would make it harder to recruit replacements from the global community.

  The issue here is robberies in a community. If that is effectively addressed, we will all be better off. Perhaps you should push for a law that authorizes robbery of gold dealers and "bogus" investors.

  IT DOESNT TAKE LONG TO REALIZE THAT THE SECURITY GUARD WAS A PRIME SUSPECT IN THE BREAK-INS. ALL THE APARTMENT COMPLEX NEED IS CONTRACT THROW OUT THIS SECURITY COMPANY AND CONTRACT A REPUTABLE SECURITY COMPANY FOR THE JOB.

  Did the people hiring G4S check the record of this Company? In the UK, they have been involved in prisons etc and there have been many scandals! I agree with the other commentator who is advising that the Company should be hauled before the Courts because they were supposed to guard such premises to avoid exactly what happened!You don't have to have a Law Degree from Harvard to argue this out in Court. As for the comment on such expatriates being 'thieves', 'fake investors', 'drug dealers' etc, that is beside the point! The reputation of Ghana out there is more important! G4S would have to get its acts together otherwise, even the 'genuine' investors would be scared off!
