Below is the worst NPP load shedding record in 2007. It shows that, at its worst, Ghanaians were having three days of light and one day without light unlike the opposite we are having now.

Now we have 12 hours of light and 24 hours without light. If we have what we were having in 2007, Ghanaians would now say there is no power problem.

The water level at Akosombo dam during that time was even below the minimum 240 feet. The water level at Akosombo at that time was 236.66 and only two turbines were in operation compared to 244 feet we have now and 4 turbies still working out of six. Ndc has failed Ghanaians.

"The new schedule reduces the amount of time which customer groups can enjoy electricity from a 12 hour period of black out once in five days to a 12 hour period of black out once during the night and another 12 hour black out period once during the day every four days."

In the so-called fight against corruption President Mahama is leading from behind. What does the constitution say about assets declaration of incoming state officials including the President and when did the President-elect declare his assets? It's said that coming events cast their shadows before they happen.Yes, Ghana is bleeding from corruption but the President is only paying the fight against corruption mere lip service. He does not have the moral courage to take corruption head on. Corruption is all around the President. He doesn't need to go very far to see the face of corruption. The truth is he doesn't have what it takes to take corruption head on. Look at the numerous judgement debts still pending in the courts. Hello!!! Who is in charge here? How long is it going to take to resolve all the judgement debt cases that are being held hostage in the courts? Even the courts are not free from corruption. Ask the Chief Justice.
The President lately has been talking a lot about fighting corruption but why did it have to take him so long to begin talking about it. It's said that it's not the size of the dog in the fight that wins the fight but it's the size of the fight in the dog that wins the fight. The President wields too much authority to decimate corruption but he prefers to talk about corruption than fight it. Talking a lot without doing anything does not win the fight. It's like the big old dog whose fierce barking makes the ground beneath to shake but wimps out when the fight is ready to begin. What is making the President to drag his feet in the fight against corruption? Your guess is as good as mine.

Charity they say begins at home. It will be fair to test Mahama's resolve to fight corruption by starting with Mahama Ayariga for his refusal to account for moneys given to him for the Afcon games. Second, he does not earn enough to be able to buy a Division One team soon after returning from the Afcon games in Equatoria Guinea. He is in conclict with the GOG over running a ministry and own and doing a competing business of football with the Ministry of Sports. Fire him if you mean what you say. The house cleaning must start with your team and right run.
