  Krobo chiefs may seem useless to you but not to the Krobos. I wonder what you would feel if a Krobo should go on the net and proclaim to the whole world that the chiefs of the traditional area where you come from are useless without any facts to support the assertion. Ghanaians used to revere their chiefs but it looks like not anymore. What a shame!

  Asempa, I gather from the story that the matter had already been to court and the court had ruled in favor of the chiefs and people of Manya Krobo. It appears, however, that despite the court ruling the Electoral Commission is flagrantly encroaching on the rights of the Krobo people and hence the decision of the chiefs to take to the streets in protest of the EC's defiance; having already petitioned the President on the issue in an earlier report.
