Just look at us. Even at this time and age, we have to go to the Whites to give money to support our budget and there are people who see nothing wrong with that. All we know is to speak crystal clear English, French, German etc and that means we are well polished, cultured, intelligent, apt, full of commonsense, matured etc, but talk of good governance and it is then that we start scratching our head as if our hair is full of lice.

Black people. Tweakai. So, don't we have technicians who can get together and come out with solution to this power crises unless we have to depend on the Whites. Why then did we opt for independent?

By the help of EC's boss Afari-Gyan and the SC, Mahama and his NDC gov't forced their way unto the throne hoping they could replicate Kuffour's 8yrs achievements. Rawlings and his AFRC/P-NDC gov't had spent 19yrs in office with nothing significant to show for in terms of development---the power crisis started during those odd and long years, but no solutions were found to them. Surprising to hear the NDC accusing the NPP for the "Dum-sor" crisis.

The question that will GEC/VRA be able to sell affordable energy to consumers when the barges that Mahama's gov't arranged for arrive? Knowing very well that these new power machines aren't hydro machines; they're fuel powered. Can NDC gov't afford to purchase fuel to power these machines, yet see power to consumers at affordable rates per unit in kilowatts? Perhaps people haven't looked into this yet.

The reason why Ghanaians have experienced the "Dum-sor" crisis is that there's no money to take care of the situation. I fears is that when the power barges arrive, there could be lack of funds to buy fuel to run these machines whether it's Gas or Diesel. Let's hope everything goes on smoothly as promised by Mahama.

No matter what the NDC will do, Ghanaians have already made up their minds---John Mahama will have to exit the throne in 2016. I heard him tickling himself in his State of the Nation address to Parliament and Ghanaians that he'll still be President in 2017. He made a very long speech talking about road construction projects, schools and some hospitals, even when the NHIS is falling into pieces. Interesting to note!

He's forgotten that the power crisis isn't the criteria by which Ghanaians are going to judge his performance; there are numerous problems. Especially, the economic situation in Ghana is simply unbearable! It's childih for Mahama to assume he'll be the people's choice when things aren't going on well for them---that's absolutely impossible. He's funny!
