In which country in this world can we see a credible and dynamic politician

This can only happen under NDC fucking regime which as a result our sovereignty is now hopeless and foolish.

I bet, you will be one of those who will question why "a few people" could dupe the whole country, if they go ahead with the emergency power generation.
Have you ever asked yourself why Diaspora Ghanaians build houses back home, instead of spending that money on "emergency" Hotel Bills, whenever they would go home?, afterall, they can easily afford paying $100 a night for some clean hotel room?
Using Emergency Power plants is the most expensive form of generating electricity. Whoever has to resort to that measure is in dire distress, and he knows it is for a very limited time period. HOURS! Or a maximum of ONE day.
Planning such a venture to cover a period of months is a deliberate waste of public assets.
What Ghana needs are people who think, even on Ghanaweb Forums.

Yet all Ghanaians and particularly opportunistic NPP are behaving as if it is Mahama-led caused. To end Dumsor, is what Mahama-led government is doing without critically analyzing the cost implications, environmental, economic and institutional implementation. The AIM is to end dumsor immediately to please all Ghanaians. Why now blame NDC government's decision. Have you forgotten how everyone is insulting Mahama as if he has no sense just because of dumsor which is no fault of his. Did Ghanaians insult Kuffour during his dumsor time? The barge lease solution could be a very expensive one. Basic lease/buy comparative analysis that any half-baked accountant can do, needs to be completed before any deals are signed.

ACP must be asked; if the government opts to buy the barges outright instead acquiring them on lease, where is it going to find the estimated $222 million it is talking about, knowing very well the opposition party (NPP) are ready to derail government efforts to borrow to stop "dumsor"? What transpired in the acquisition and the disbursement of the 'aborted' Chinese $3b loan readily comes to mind. It was just yesterday it became known that the evil behind the problem is NPP own, self-conversed, former General Secretary, the one and only shooter-from-the-hip, 'Sir Big-month John'. When there is people like him, running secrete errands against an incumbent government, in senior political positions, the country does not progress. It, also, becomes worst if a tit for tat action ensues.

The Dr. should tell us if thw value for money arguement is based on the fact that the lease of operating lease or finance lease and whether the government will be responsible for the operating cost of the plants. If the company will be responsible for operating cost, then the Dr. is being intellectually dishonest as the cost of the plant he is putting out there should also include the operating and maintenence cost. It is not really about upfront cost but the ongoing maintenance- It appears this is an Independent Power Producer's agreement type and will be surprised if the US$770 million does nit include O&M.
SO if you consider finance cost and and other ocist mention, there could in fact be value for money. Value for money should not be based on just cash outlay but also other impact of the contract if it were done otherwise icluding the impact on deficit and credit rating if government secure loan to ourchase it outright and the operating cost impact on government balance sheet.
