If Ms Ametefeh has been allegedly doing such manoeuvres since 2009 goodness knows how many of such people have used this method just because of their status in society as security around such people have been relaxed. No one can be trusted when it comes to such issues any more as our security is at stake. Why were they not whisked off to Accra for debriefing, after which they could have been separated should the problem failed to meet solution. Now, NDC will be the looser for this dismissal.

Though the government may contribute to 40% in shaping our nation; the whole work lies on us. Advanced technology, which we are enjoying now were invented by humans like you and I. Those inventors went through hard way to crack the impossible or their dream to become reality. I do not think that Bill Gates had it so easy in establishing Microsoft, which eventually has been a tool in making life easier for the world. Of course, I am not disputing the role government plays in infrastructure, administrative and good governance, but a regional minister call as a Regional Commissioner or Governor; whether elected or not would not bring any massive development in the region. Our development is link to our brains.

In addition, no member of parliament should be given a ministerial positions. They can't be referees and at the same time players. Attorney General should be detached from government completely! The constitution needs amendment to enable the people rule themselves and hold those they elect into office accountable.

Failure to bring about regional autonomy may result in chaos for the country. I fear for the future. Let us understand that the elasticity of people's patience is not completely inelastic
