The president has been saying that he tried to introduce electronic payment and acquisition systems into the public sector {to reduce human contact with cash} in his effort to fighting corruption, but lamented that the systems were often resisted.

This has become so monotonous that Ghanaians are beginning to wonder whether the president is actually serious and interested in fighting corruption as he claims, or it's just another crocodile's tears to deceive Ghanaians into believing that he is making an effort, while the government and its cronies amass billions of dollars at the expense of this struggling HIPC nation.
Why should Ghanaians hire a president that can't even introduce an electronic system successfully into the public sector to save us from criminals masquerading as civil servants? Mr. Mahama must be seen to be fighting corruption with all his might rather than go on lamenting helplessly like the rest of us who hired him to do the job.

If you ask me, this sounds like the sweet music of divine retribution. It sounds too good to be true and I urge the Kufuor/Mpiani traitors to go all out and destroy their party.

Afterall, if the terrible NDC stays in power, it will be just as bad as the Party (the NPP) that introduced coups d'etat into Ghana. Whether its heads or tails, the country stands to lose in all cases.

Ghanaians are foolish because they can't tell if they are suffering or not, somebody from outside will have to speak for them.
So Ghanaians, you don't have any problem. Your pipes are flowing with water constantly, power supply is constant, you live in a corrupt free country, your currency, the cedi is doing wonderful, fuel price is very affordable, your hospitals are fantastic; even Atta Mills patronized them till he died, your cities are squeaky clean; garbage on the streets is a thing of the past, misappropriation of state funds is just fine, don't complain. I mean, you are just doing fine, if you complain again, we will scorn you, especially, if you are someone with a disability. Just shut-up and listen to outsiders, because they pay for the food you eat, the petrol you buy and bear your pain when you are sick and you are asked to go home because hospitals don't have beds to admit you. When Kuffour was leaving office, the dollar was 1.2cedis and when professor mills took over for three years the cedis only depreciated to 1.5 cedis, and just six months to election he strangely died, and immediately Mahama took over in just six moths the dollar was 2.2 cedis. Putting out this fallacious nonsense about President Kufuor's former Chief of Staff, Mr. Mpiani, citing his nephew's marriage into the Mahama's family as some source of difficulty for Akufo-Addo's Election bid, is grievously offensive, and would not help Akufo-Addo in any way. This is part of a scheme to fish for some spurious excuse to blame the presence of a mole in NPP on Mpiani and Alan's faction of the NPP.

In such a ploy by the Akufo-Addo's faction, the group might expect that any fear in Alan's faction that it could become a target of anger among most of the NPP supporters would then force Alan's faction and President Kufuor to elevate their assistance to Akufo-Addo's campaign leading to the Elections.

However, I would say that Mpiani and the rest of Alan's faction do not owe Akufo-Addo's faction of the NPP any greater efforts than naturally expected of all leading NPP members to help Akufo-Addo.

This is a shrewd scheme by the Akufo-Addo camp in which it berates and unwarrantedly denigrates Mpiani, Alan, and even President Kufuor, and still has them work for Akufo-Addo.

Akufo-Addo's faction knows that its baseless and needless antagonism it initiated against Alan, Mpiani, Dr. Apraku, Dr. Anane and President Kufuor among others, has irritated that group enough to possibly make it sit on the sidelines, or do just enough for Akufo-Addo. But instead of the Akufo-Addo's faction publicly apologizing to these stalwart leaders of the NPP, and humbly inviting them to bury their hatchets with them and work together with everything at their disposal, this dirty ploy, as the Article seems to establish, is what the camp of the NPP flagbearer might have come up with.

Nevertheless, I do not think that dubious tactic would work. The best way to get the most out of the Alan camp is employing a mature, respectful, and humble way to settle any animosity between the two factions of the NPP for them to join forces and defeat the NDC, instead of fabricating new and fallacious faults with the Alan faction to criticize, and shame it with.

Similar idiotic baseless suspicion was raised by the Akufo-Addo's faction against Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe, citing the fact that he has family relations with President Mahama, and therefore implying he is a likely NDC mole within NPP, and an unreliable leader of the Party.

A few simple and honest questions to ask the Akufo-Addo's faction that has been repeatedly scheming to find fault with others within the NPP and blame them for the difficulty of realizing Akufo-Addo's dream to be our next President include whether Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe was not related to President Mahama before and during the 2008 and 2012 Presidential Elections? And did Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe like the NPP better then than now to have offered greater loyalty to the NPP than he has been doing for Akufo-Addo currently?

The saddest truth about the Akufo-Addo's camp is that it has never humbly acknowledged its own intrinsic shortfalls, among which is its repeated blatant divisive tactics, both within the NPP and among ethnic groups in the Country.

Akufo-Addo's camp has never seen it as credible the fact that many Ghanaians still see it as the bigoted edge of the NPP that needs to be numbed to help lift the undeserving and unfortunate blemish on the Party as being a tribal, Akan-only Party.

Akufo-Addo's faction resort to such heinous defamatory reverse psychology to show Alan's faction in a bad light and still force the latter to offer more to help Akufo-Addo to win the Elections would not help but harm the flagbearer's political dreams.
