I told you guys! This president is useless. There is nothing he can do to get Ghana out of the problems they have put her in. With the value of our currency, the cedi, still falling, the useless young man is saying Ghanaians, not him, are foolish. Ghanaians are foolish because they can't tell if they are suffering or not, somebody from outside will have to speak for them.
So Ghanaians, you don't have any problem. Your pipes are flowing with water constantly, power supply is constant, you live in a corrupt free country, your currency, the cedi is doing wonderful, fuel price is very affordable, your hospitals are fantastic; even Atta Mills patronized them till he died, your cities are squeaky clean; garbage on the streets is a thing of the past, misappropriation of state funds is just fine, don't complain. I mean, you are just doing fine, if you complain again, we will scorn you, especially, if you are someone with a disability. Just shut-up and listen to outsiders, because they pay for the food you eat, the petrol you buy and bear your pain when you are sick and you are asked to go home because hospitals don't have beds to admit you. THIS IS THE IMPLICATION OF THE STATEMENT MADE BY THE MAN WHO IS SPEARHEADING 'better Ghana Agenda' If this is what it is, WHY DON'T YOU VOTE HIM AND HIS USELESS FRIENDS OUT IN 2016?

During the commemorative lecture, a clearly tired Akufo-Addo, who was billed as the guest speaker for the event was caught napping in his chair, as even older dignitaries such as former President John Kufuor was raptly engrossed with the proceedings of the day.

Akufo-Addo's nap took several interesting postures; in one instance, he tilted his head backwards on his chair as he snoozed away. He later shifted gears as the boredom bore down on him; this time, he tilted his head sideways in what appeared to be a more comfortable sleeping posture in such an august gathering of party big-wigs.

According to eye-witnesses, the incident caught the attention of not only the cameramen and women but also some of the dignitaries who sat close to him who couldn’t help but to gossip.

Critics have pointed out his tendency to give in to nature and his age and health situation as his major setback towards the 2016 Presidential election, though he insist he is “perfectly fit” to lunge into the vigorous electioneering campaign next year.

He has courted a sizeable number of opponents within his party whose major opposition to his Presidential bid uncertain capacity to surmount his age and alleged health issues.

Akufo-Addo’s napping picture is being compared to a similar gaffe by Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe, who recently tripped and fell flat on his face on an official tour. The comical fall of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has quickly earned him thousands of internet Memes which have been used to represent several ridiculous postures.

The embarrassing spectacle has led to the sacking of several personal guards of 90-year-old Mr. Mugabe, apparently blamed for not preventing his now trending fall. But critics have blamed his advanced age for such high-profile mishaps.

In Ghana, Akufo-Addo has been compared to Robert Mugabe for his undying quest to become President despite his advanced age and an alleged health condition.

Akuffo-Addo and Robert Mugabe form a class of ageing African politicians who have increasingly come under ridicule for questing for power despite the general trend of African leadership shifting towards younger and more vibrant leaders.

Akufo-Addo, a veteran politician, has been defeated twice at the Presidential polls and has insisted on standing again as the opposition NPP’s 2016 Presidential candidate, a move that critics anticipate would be his most embarrassing in his political career if he loses again for the third time, because his advanced age will force him to abandon his long-nursed presidential ambition which has been battered several times by stronger contenders and now his age.

But when Nkrumah was INVITED to come and help. that was when things started to change in our favor. Ako Adjei saw something in him and with Nkrumah as a leader, we got our independence. These jealous people (UP) tried every which way to scuttle his efforts. I am not saying that he alone got us our independence, but he was the leader. The Mate-Meho gang never rested until some ass-hole soldiers who had no clue overthrew him. The children of this Mate-Meho gang and their fathers, hated Nkrumah LIKE THE DEVIL HATES HOLY WATER to the extend that Nana(the drawf, not the beer bottle) can not, with or without a law certificate acknowledge what Nkrumah did for this country. They plotted, bombed and did everything to get rid of him and guess what, Ghana is run down up till today. I wonder what he thinks when driving on the motorway. Neglected by then Colonial Admin, Sgt Adjetey and colleagues ex Soldiers attempted to present a Petition to the Governor at the Christianborg Castle,Osu,the Seat of gov't about the Social Welfare of Soldiers dumped back home without any plans put in place by the Colonial Gov't about their welfare, the naked general suffering etc.And they were Shot and killed by white govt Security forces around the Spot we have his Statute,on 28th February 1948/49 (I stand corrected). A guy walks into a bar with his pet monkey. He orders a drink and while he's drinking, the monkey starts jumping all over the place. The monkey grabs some olives off the bar and eats them, then grabs some sliced limes and eats them,then jumps up on the pool table, grabs the cue ball, sticks it in his mouth and swallows it whole.

The bartender screams at the guy, "Did you see what your monkey just did?" The guy says, "No, what?" "He just ate the cue ball off my pool table - whole!" says the bartender. "Yeah, that doesn't surprise me," replies the patron. "He eats everything in sight, the little twerp. I'll pay for the cue ball and stuff." He finishes his drink, pays his bill, and leaves. Two weeks later he's in the bar again, and he has his monkey with him. He orders a drink and the monkey starts running around the bar again.

While the man is drinking, the monkey finds a banana on the bar. He grabs it, sticks it up his ass, pulls it out, and eats it. The bartender is disgusted. "Did you see what your monkey did now?" "Now what?" asks the patron. "Well, he stuck a banana up his ass, then pulled it out and ate it!" says the barkeeper.

Premier Li Keqiang met with US President Barack Obama in Beijing on Nov 12.
The Premier said that China and the US share broad cooperation prospects and common interest in maintaining world peace and stability; promoting a strong, sustainable and balanced growth in global economy and the progress of human civilization.
Li mentioned that President Xi Jinping held a strategic meeting with President Obama and reached broad consensus.
China and the US, the world’s largest developing country and the developed country should strengthen strategic mutual trust, give full play to complementary advantages and enhance mutually beneficial cooperation. The two should properly handle differences and frictions based on the principles of mutual respect and fairness to promote Sino-US relations developing in the right way.
Li stressed that Sino-US economic and trade cooperation as a ballast and propeller for bilateral ties can have a positive multiplier effect on Sino-US relations. He hoped that the two countries can soon achieve a high-level and balanced bilateral investment treaty in a pragmatic and flexible attitude.

The two should develop new bilateral trade growth points, increase the cooperation potential of infrastructure construction and improve the level of scientific and technological cooperation. Li hoped that the US can soon take substantial measures on loosening restrictions of exporting high-tech products to China.
China and the US announced their respective post-2020 goals of coping with climate change in a joint announcement issued after the Xi-Obama talks.
This should be taken as an opportunity to expand cooperation in shale gas, nuclear, renewable energy sources and low-carbon and environmental protection technologies. Li hoped the US takes an active attitude and practical action toward exporting related energy products and technologies to China.
The Premier said he and President Obama will both head to Myanmar for the 9th East Asia Summit. China and the US, as important members of the summit, should stick to mutual trust and win-win cooperation and achieve benign interaction in the region, Li said.
The Chinese side is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with the US on international and regional affairs to jointly safeguard and promote peace, development and prosperity in the region and the world beyond, Li noted.
Obama said the US and China are quite close partners, adding that expanding cooperation between the two countries, the world’s two largest economies, benefits not only the two countries but also the world.
The US hopes to step up negotiations on the treaty about bilateral investment, expand investment, push forward trade liberalization, cement cooperation in areas such as energy innovation, boost economic growth and employment in the two nations, and work toward world economic recovery, Obama pointed out.
The US welcomes more Chinese companies investing in the country, he added.
Vice-Premier Wang Yang was present at the meeting between the Premier and Obama.

Kennedy Agyapong Radio New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that he told the Chinese government to suspend the full disbursement of the $3billion loan sought by the Ghana Government.

Hon. Agyapong says he chose that path because the government had inflated the cost of the Atuabo Gas project and several other projects the loan would have been used for.

"I told them not to give out all the amount since the Government of Ghana had inflated the cost of the gas project...," he said on Accra's Okay FM.

He continued that he alerted the Chinese to the fact that 'no government would pay for the loan because of the inflation of the cost.'

The acquisition of the $3billion Chinese loan was a major catchphrase of the NDC government during the late Prof. Atta Mills’ regime.

The government hinged several developmental projects on the arrival of the loan, with NDC communicators touting it as the money to help Ghana come out of underdevelopment.

Parliament also warned about the loan.

After several delays, only one billion dollars of the amount finally arrived, and all efforts to attract the remainder have proved futile.

President John Dramani Mahama is on record to have appealed to a Chinese envoy to entreat their government to release the rest of the loan.

But all the efforts that hit the rocks, Ken Agyapong said, was due to his message to the Chinese government that subsequent Ghanaian governments won’t pay for the inflated loan.

He described his move as one that "saved Ghana"
