Nice pictures. However, the organizers should have covered the scaffolds with Ghana flag or white clothes. All good though.

Good Observation! That was the first thing that came to my mind as well. The scaffolds with TV cameramen on it were in stark contrast to the magnificent arch and spectators stands behind. I would rather prefer the blue and yellwo stripes as depicted on top of the president's podium with our coat of arms in the middle to the flag colours which is all over the place though. Maybe for security reasons they kept it open - who knows?!! Kudos!

What are we telling the world? We are not grooming any young ones to take over? That is where all the corruption starts, because all these old politicians don't want to retire, so the young ones have no hope of ever getting any where before they die.

Retire all these old men and women and bring in some young and vibrant ones. But the word of caution is, they must be knowledgeable . Some of the faces I see in those pictures are faces I used to see in the 60s and 70s. They are simply tired. Haba! Ghana!...lol

I'm just wondering why the president was using a Toyota Camry,what a moderation and the guy around him whether is security or not holding a radio on the hand instead of on his body and wearing some weird shoe,may be one of the so called made in Ghana shoes,the black ones were sold out,lol.
