  ECOWAS is on paper only as France a small nation in Europe has undermined it. Each time Ecowas holds a conference, a week latter, France will call her slaves to Paris and warn them. The open secret is France makes 17% on each CFA spent in the cfa zone generating over $20 billion France is holding since 1960s.That agreement was a prerequisite to gaining the fake independence from France.
  France uses the holding money as loans ( loaning Ghana $11million,$6million here and there) and refuses to disclose how much interest she charges on it but only agrees to give one half of 1% (google France and the CFA zone) to be shared amongst the participating nations.
  Former Cote d'Ivoire minister of finance and some top Senegalese citizens are fighting over that money to be returned to them but the parasitical leach and the snake is still sitting on it while the region is in dare need of money for investments to create jobs for the teeming youth population.
  
  For ECOWAS to be truly integrated and work for her ppl, France and her dirty work and hidden hands need to be exposed in a strong worded statement.
  
  ECOWAS HAS NOTHING TO CELEBRATE ABOUT.

  Good point by Hannah but your own government is not is doing the right thing by not treating the recent issues raised by some Muslims in this country. The ndc is trying to court Muslim votes by agreeing to whatever they are asking for without finding out where it's going to lead us. Rules which controls all of us are being 'Islamatised' first it was church service, then assembly, then uniforms at work. All this happened within a month. There seems to be a hand behind all this and who knows where it's going to end
  We are Africans and if the Muslims don't want western values why do they want to replace it with Arabic values. The answer is they are being funded by Arabic infidels who want to establish caliphate on our land. Our Muslim brothers must realise they are Africans first. Their leaders are using them to destroy our African values whilst pretending they are fighting western values.
  We should not tolerate these Arabic infidels and stick together as Africans. Boko haram should be wiped out before they spread. These Arabs enslaved us long before the white man

Which of you in government or your counterparts in the ECOWAS countries can openly confess that the problem of Islamic terrorism is the religion itself and for that matter take the right measures such as curbing the influence of countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran and Turkey on muslims in our countries? Can you be bold enough to bar these countries from offering muslims scholarships to study radical islam who in turn come back after their studies to radicalize the youth? Please spare us the noise and stop pretending to be concern about islamic terrorism.

  What is aim of these terror groups terrorizing innocent people across the globe and under what banner do they do that? Islam. They invoke Allah's name right or wrong?
  
  Yeah, call me whatever name you like but that is the truth. Who is Osama Bin Ladin, Ayemar Zawahiri etc and what is the aim of Al-Shabab, ISIS, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, Abu Sayaff, Hamas etc? They are fighting under the flag of Islam. Would the leaders be bared from going to Mecca?
  
  In the case of Boko Haram, the Chadian leader is prepared to chase them into Nigeria to finish them off but Nigerian authorities are refusing. Why? Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon, should come together and attack Boko Haram from all angles to finish them off. There is no way they can sustain any onslaught from these nations. Any foot dragging is an indication for the group to rethink and plan.
