The SC did not accuse Wayome of fraud and causing financial loss to the state but that all the actors in this macabre drama did not follow the proper procedures. If Wayome got paid through an order of a lower court of competent jurisdiction. The SC has merely set aside the ruling of its inferior court and merely ordered Wayome to refund the money without interest neither is he to be punished in any other way. The same State actors that did not behave professionally then turn around to accuse Wayome of criminal conduct. The learned judge is simply saying that the state should go to hell not that the SC is wrong.

Are we to take it that, the AG's dept therefore went to court to deceive the court wilfully then, because it was on the basis of something that they brought those charges against him? Does this therefore set the stage for Woyome to move a motion for the discharge of the ruling on the refund of Ghc51.2million cedis since the high court has ruled it wasn't a case of defrauding by false pretences and also wilfully causing financial loss tot the state and thus can be inferred, there's absolutely no justification for a refund of the looted money?

Mr Ekumfi, not at all. What this judgement is saying is that, the state of Ghana failed to prove that Woyome intentionally defrauded Ghana. Woyome thought he deserve the money because he has a contract with the government which the Attorney General at the time agreed and therefore Woyome did not defraud Ghana.

This ruling has no effect on the Supreme Court judgement. This was a ccriminal prosecution to imprison Woyome which the Judge said by the preponderance of the evidence presented, Woyome is not guilty of defrauding the state.

This ruling does not mean Woyome is free to go home with the $31 million he stole from Ghana.

Mr. Sarpong, the way I see it, Ghanaians are not going to get the NDC-Woyome loot of $31million dollars. The Mahama NDC gov't-Woyome orchestrated loot, has been set up in such a way that, instead of the NDC gov't and Woyome approaching their warped justified loot of over $31million dollars frontally, they are approaching 1. the justification of the loot and 2. the nullification of any refund whatsoever in a reverse manner.
Had they insisted upfront that the loot was justified and therefore they were not going to refund a dime, the uproar would have been swift and loud.
To circumvent that, it was approached from the rear, and Ghana has been had.
The NDC gov't-Woyome have 1.looted Ghana of $31million dollars 2. Woyome is free and the 3rd. which is yet to happen but would happen in due course is that, there will be no refund.
It is a very simple matter.
Ghanaians are not getting a dime from this NDC gov't-Woyome loot and I can bet my last pesewa on it. Ghana has been had and it is such a travesty. NDC gov't looting as a policy is now statutorily verified and accepted as a major plank of governance in contemporary Ghanaian socio-politico-economic governance, and until the Mahama-led NDC gov't is jettisoned at the ballot box, Ghana is going nowhere.

Justice John Ajet-Nassam ruled that the state failed to convince the Court that Woyome acquired the money fraudulently.
Folks, from this ruling the NDC-Woyome thievery that was unleashed on suffering Ghanaians has been upheld and consequently, there would be no refund of any money by the NDC-Woyome thieving complex.
If the money was not acquired fraudulently, then there's absolutely no basis for a refund and Ghana once again is a goner in the reckless looting by the family and friends NDC looting brigade.
The ballot box beckons in 2016 and it's your call to fuel and canonize the NDC govt spectacle of looting or to jettison it, so Ghana can progress.
