After Mills found Betty Moulds guilty of judgement debt payments the only thing he could do was to move her to the Education dept to continue her looting. Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one
by contracting Togolese Trokosis, Burkinabe and Wangaras from La Cote D'ivoire to vote for them, the " Road To Kigare", is sometimes, a likely option to kick their ass from power.

“In the last six years, the NDC has borrowed US$27 billion. Before that, we, the NPP, borrowed a total of US$5.5 billion in eight years. Compare that to the NDC borrowing $27 billion in six years and ask yourself what they have done with all that money,” the running mate to Nana Akufo-Addo said.

He said, though a lot more money has been spent, it is a paradox of economic management that this level of excessive spending has only led to greater hardships being visited on the people.

“NDC inherited a public debt stock of GHS9.5 billion in 2009,” the former Deputy Governor of the central bank said. “Today, Ghana’s debt has gone up to GHS65.7 billion. So when I say the stakes are high I am talking about the destiny of our country, Ghana, the future of the youth.”

“The NDC has been taxing everything, including condoms and cutlasses. In terms of resources, this NDC government has had more resources than any other government. We did not have oil. Yet, Ghanaians know what we did with the limited resources we had. We spent money responsibly to create the NHIS, introduce Capitation Grant, expand access to education, we spent wisely on infrastructure and built more roads than any other government,” he said.

Betty Mould is a lawyer like those who proferred advice to her, moreso, she was the nation's "topmost lawyer" by her position so she was not obliged to accept any frivolous advice if she aptly found it so. For her, she sold her conscience and blindly followed the skewed advice of her subordinate lawyers whose palms were presumed to have been "greased" by Woyome. The judge had no business speaking for Betty Mould because neither the prosecutors nor the defence incriminated her. He should leave public opinion out of his judgement, becos if he truly worried by public opinion, he should have found every legal means to find Woyome guilty to appease the public. Who is he to find Woyome innocent when the supreme court had found him guilty? I'm glad law is not medicine, otherwise, a lot of people will die needlessly. IT IS JUST SO HARD FOR LAWYERS TO AGREE ON ONE THING! In medicine, a junior doc hardly overides the decision of the consultant!

"According to the court, the state’s criticism of Mrs. Mould-Iddrisu was “misplaced,” because she (Mrs Mould-Iddrisu) acted on advise (sic) from lawyers from the Ministry of Finance, the Attorney-General’s department and other consultants."

1. As a government lawyer, Ms. Betty Mould is the one charged with the responsibility to give the ultimate advice to government agencies and her subordinates, not the other way round.

In any case, the buck stops with her if she gave in to a patently bad advice, no matter where it emanated from.

The government side failed to defend the government for whatever reason, and the government was heavily hit with a default judgment. Even if there was valid reason to skip court, there is no valid reason for failing to motion for the default judgment to be set aside for just cause. Barring this course of action, the case could still have headed for appeal.

Having failed to discharge any of her fiduciary trust as the government's Chief Attorney, Ms. Betty Mould cannot escape responsibility and culpability by hiding under any spurious advice given her by anybody.

The only reason why she is walking free is that this whole matter was contrived by the NDC government to dupe the nation, and Woyome is a mere appendage in this whole sinister design. There is no reason to suppose that he will refund any money to government. I think the basis for that Supreme Court judgment is as hollow as this fake charge of fraud with which the government sought to indict him.
