Readers would recall that Betty Mounds was the one who awarded SCHOOL building contracts at a triple price of the existing contract sum of some GH 80,000.00. And this happened at a time when they claim inflation was in the single digits. Could you imargin how foolish these criminal liars were. Kuffour built similar structures with 80,000 at a time when inflation was around 14.8% and under Mills it was 240,000 at a rate of 8.8%. And these buffoons turn around to blame the fall of the cedi on some mysterious dwarfs. I don't blame those African countries that have been ripped apart by civil unrest because if you have such buffoons in power who always turn our local elections into a West Africa one

Former President Jerry Rawlings claims 60 per cent of “thieves” in government now hold positions in the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The former president alleged that those people fought for party positions just to protect themselves from a possible prosecution for their evil deeds.
Mr. Rawlings who was reacting to the acquittal of business man Alfred Woyome stated that prosecution presented a poor case just to protect some people in government implicated in the case.
Citing the involvement of former Attorney General, Betty Mould-Iddrisu in the Woyomegate scandal as an example, Mr. Rawlings questioned why she was left off the hook.
"Woyome the thief is now a free man because some of our people who were involved in the thievery like Betty Mould and one other person were not produce in court for interrogation to provide vital information to jail him," he fumed.
“When 40% of the corrupt people have lost their positions to enable us clean the party, 60% have now come in to protect themselves and we also vote them. Are we so stupid” he quizzed.

Put a lien on all his properties especially the multi-million dollar mansion he is living in and the Ndc party headquarters which he financed.
As an Ndc financier, some of the money was given to that party and therefore a lien should be placed on the party headquarters. The Ghc400,000 Woyome gave to the Attorney General Office employee and his wife too should be retrieved.
If the money was paid in dollars at that time, it should be paid back in dollars even if the state is not going toadd iinterest since the judgement two years ago.

Kooboy, the two cases are different, one criminal and the other civil.
You can be found not guilty in a criminal aspect of a case but found guilty in the civil case as happened here and the O.J Simpson case or the other way round. Hope you get the drift now.

The failure of the AG's Dept to contest the case by bringing to court the key witnesses, Ebo Barton-Oduro and Mrs Betty Mould-Idrissu by any means possible (subpoena if necessary) was the tipping point in the case. Was the AG's Dept taken by surprise? No! They planned to fail and got just what they desired for. Why the crocodile tears now because it's like adding salt to injury? It's like the case of the hireling, the stable keeper who decided for some reason to open the stable door for the horses to bolt away and now that they are gone he is closing the door to appease the anger of his paymaster, the owner of the stable. Sorry! It's too little too late.
