Even in the so called developed countries, a drop in the price of crude oil doesn't necessarily translate into reduction in the prices of fuel products. So many factors including the capacity of oil refineries and whether ordinary citizens are also going to enjoy the windfall come into play.If my memory serves me right, the last time government reduced the price of fuel, vehicle operators for example didn't reduce their fares thus making a mockery of the whole exercise. It's not good and smacks of intellectual and political dishonesty to latch on to only one of several complex factors to make a case like this.
