Fulani needs a police post or permanent police presence. Why keep police patrol and visibility on gthe highstreets and plush communities alone. ? The Ghana Police Force is the worst I have ever encountered anywhere in the world I have visited or lived in, and that is no small count.

There act like watchmen or social workers in uniform. They aide and abet lawlessness. They are shameless public officers who can be easily enticed by motorists.

Street Hawking is illegal, yet I have seen Police Officers on duty either patronizing these law-breakers or even sheltering them. Sometimes they engage in conversations with them about the silliest things and I watch them laugh out loud and joke with motorists and street hawkers.

The image of a Ghanaian Police officer is as good as a caricature of a scarecrow in uniform.

I urge the Police Commander to equip our Law Enforcement Unit with the right tools and training such that they can gain respect and control the laws of the land and District Assembly.

I don't believe that any Ghanaian Police officer has ever arrested or cautioned a citizen Urinating in Public, Defecating in Public, Walking around Naked or Half Naked, Posting Bills along prohibited walls or for that matter any public nuisance, such as blurring loud speakers, promotion vehicles, abandoned vehicles in the middle or side of the road. Motorists who turn parts of the motorway into instant mechanic shops, until they have their vehicle mobile again.

Only a police force can resolve all these problems overnight, except for the use of civilian vigilante groups who can simply cause mayhem by attacking and burning down all illegal activities. Incidentally, when that happens only then will you observe the Ghana Police to pretend that they finally have a job at hand. Lazy assess!!!!!
