After NPP lost, he tried very hard to stage a come back through Brig Nunoo Mensah and Col Gbevlo Lartey. Now these two personalities no longer hold sway in NDC. So he is desperately trying to find new God fathers, but the NDC especially the footshoulders are not having any of it. Why can't Kofi Boakye concentrate on his duty like other Police officers than always trying to grab headlines through controversial circumstances. That is why both NDC and NPP would continue to use and dump him. Actions they say speaks louder than words.

My main criticism is that the Regional Police Commander has looked on unconcerned while his men and women use their uniforms to extort money from commercial drivers. This behaviour renders the police service a robbery and corrupt institution from the top to the bottom.
Policemen and women invade the streets in Kumasi at 5am to openly collect one,one cedi from drivers without doing any inspection on the vehicle. How can we shower praises on the so called Commander one.He must go because he has been unable to stop this shameful and disgraceful behaviour being perpetrated by the Police in the Ashanti Region.If indeed he is a clean Police Commander then he should stop this shameful practice. But for now we should stop showering praises on Kofi Boakye.
