The truth of this case will never be known until Betty, Amidu, Woyome and greedy waa waa money Kufuor, plus all those ministers associated at the time - Finance Minister and all their deputies - are all questioned in court under oath.

You can't have true justice if only the accused are brought to court.

Those who made the decisions to award, cancel and divert the contract to someone else without respect to the proper procedures, must be subpoenaed to appear before court.

Kufuor's greed caused all this problem.

How can a Chinese company get contract without bidding, without parliamentary approval but a Ghanaian cannot? Let your own people make money instead of helping foreigners make money and take it away.
It is about time Ghanaians look beyond party affiliation for the common good of the nation. A ruling party will give contracts to foreigners rather than the non ruling party members. The foreigners know that and they are happy you guys cannot agree and that creates opportunities for them regardless of the ruling party.Open your eyes and stop wasting money on this case. spend resources on streamlining the bidding system and laws that will help indigenous companies grow.

I have said repeatedly that the Supreme Court and lower courts of Ghana erred in any of the deliberations on the Woyome saga. I am glad that now there are some who are willing to pursue this issue to bring the Supreme Court of Ghana to its senses for rendering a judgment without needed investigation and or judicial homework.

Are the Justices on the Supreme Court shielded from activities of government? Did they did not know or hear about what it was that brought Woyome to the lower courts? Every judgment debt in Ghana has a root cause and the ills can be minimized or curtailed when the courts hold administrations to account. Kufour and his men botched the Stadium renovation procurement process and yet a vengeful Martin Amidu and others in the NPP would like to pretend Woyome went to court with his initial claim against the government without cause. The erred decision in the courts over the Woyome case thus emboldened corrupt officials in the erstwhile Kufour administration to think their deeds were indeed covered by the judiciary.

If you critically take a retrospective glance back into Kufuor's 8 years' tutelage, you'd see nothing but serious and criminal procedures jeopardizing state finances at just every level, and he did, in fact, take to the highest level before these current times.

Kufuor created conflicts and unprecedented scandals in his passage everywhere and people kind of tried to wrap it all under the carpet. Kufuor's greed was manifest, the new normal, overpowering, and an intrigue.

It isn't that Kufuor's administration thought their deeds were covered by the judiciary: these guys, like Woyome, tried to corrupt so many, very extensively, thereby enlarging the corrupt family by association, so all they had to do was veil their faces and pretend it was all trivial.

Kufuor never ceased to amaze me; his corrupt nature instils fear, so much he had no limit to what he could do.

This guy took of at the moment we were all crying about NDC exaggerated pilfering of state coffers and lack of will in the exercise of the judgment of its appointees. We thought JAK will be the face of redemption, just like Rawlings thought Mills could be the wise leader. In event, we now know everyone who becomes a president will be the next thief.

There's nothing wrong with Martin Amidu's going to court to nullify any 'right' that Woyome believes he had to the said money so long as he, Martin Amidu, as a citizen of Ghana, believes that Woyome had no right to the said money!

It's in the same sense that there's nothing wrong with Woyome's making claims to the said money if he believed he was entitled to it based on the work he did and certain agreements he had with the previous government.

Fortunately, these claims and counter-claims and criss-cross of claims have all found their ways into the courts of the land, and the courts have ruled on them! And more fortunately, the rulings of the courts are not cast in concrete; they can be appealed!

However, what can be said for Woyome is that when, as someone once expressed it, a problem arises, it's fair to look at where it started and not only where it ended! There's no denying that it's the behaviour of former President Kufour himself and his administration that started this whole Woyome debacle now weighing heavily on us! When the late President Atta Mills made pronoucements to that effect, the partisan NPP political machinery went out on attack of him. The EOCO report, which was the outcome of the EOCO investigations into the matter, did recognise and express the Kufour-origins of the trouble. And even the judge, Justice Ajet-Nessem, who ruled on the criminal case brought against Woyome, has recognised and expressed the Kufour-origins of the matter!

It's, thus, in order and fair that both the 'hot' anger of Ghanaian populace on account of the Woyome-money, and the search for justice in the case, should now be turned intensively and extensively on the Kufourian origins of the case!

That makes the actions of those who paid the money also unlawful. Mrs Betty Mould Iddrisu may have had good "intentions" but her actions remain unlawful. As a lawyer herself, it will be interesting to see hear what her defence is. A court case is not an election where numbers win. All that matters is the truth even if it is supported by one person and decided by a competent and impartial bench of judges. Let Ghanaians thank God the the Supreme Court is still solid as an impartial court.

If idiots are saying the contract did not get parliamentary approval and therefore Woyome should not have been paid, which parliament gave Kufour, the dirty black ugly looking ape, the Authority to give the contract to the Chineses. We are waiting patiently. Ghana will turn upside down if Woyome is made to pay a cent to whoever is demanding it. Is Amidu is listening. Just leave Woyome alone for peace to prevail in this country.
