What the NPP wants to do is known as a reverse discrimination. We need our women to be given equal opportunity but the must compete with the man on equal footings.

This decision needs a quick drawback. What are they waiting for . They should count my vote out if they go ahead to implement this affirmative decision and I believe NPP will loose massively come 2016.

The decision is laudable but the timing was caged because the nature of wrong motives in the country and the mode of people against some women and waiting list of men willing to show up shut the move down. Make it open for all and after consider experience women for key positions, Board and Dep.Ministers.Nana Addo will win come 2016 same spirit took place as at 2000.

How do Nana and NPP defining it is shameful and unintellectual. Nana can evenly appoint his ministers between gender (if he win) which consider as affirmation action. However, elected positions must be opened competitive to any citizen who meet the criteria. NPP must be cautious in making terrible mistake.

Instead, you're bringing up an unnecessary policy that can become an impediment to winning the Presidency. Please.....NPP executives, stop assuming you've already won the 2016 elections. That assumption has always become a killer blow to your chances of winning general elections. Be wise as the snake or a cat.....

1.Is NPP taking this step because the have confidence in the present Female MPs in Parliament or will maintain their regardless of who comes.
2.By shielding them from internal competitions what will be their plight if they would be strong enough to withstanding other opponents from other parties. Who will accept the blame?
3.Supposing next time round we have Women Parlimentarians are they yet to change the policy?
Please allow equal opportunity, Equal Competition regardless of GENDER, (Color)Tribe, Backgrounds and Religious affiliation. These are the ingredients of true democracy.
The decision of who is to lead us are PURELY in hands of the VOTERS which is done thru the BALLOT BOX.
